At the very heart of the ‘Hilarious Thing’ Trump’s White House might do stands Nick Shirley, the YouTube investigative reporter that has the leftwing running in full damage-control mode.
Nick is an up-and-coming name in the conversation of high-impact reporting, a 23 YouTuber exposing fraud in Minnesota with exactly the same ‘camera-in-your face’ in-person reprting 60 Minutes did back when they cared about the ‘investigative’ part of investigative reporting.
As a result, the Media(D) has a new persona non gratis to defame and decry as a ‘MAGA journalist’.
The fact that he’s got more views than America’s entire ink-and-paper press has in total circulation must be embarrassing enough in their own right. But Shirley has taken publicly-available information, and exposed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fraud in a single sort video.
They hate him. They’re jealous that a regular young guy can build this kind of an audience and manage this kind of success. That his video is driving the news cycle and getting us to talk about stories their team has been burying for years.
