3 CROSSES IN 1956 LOWER MANHATTAN EASTER PHOTOGRAPH SHOW HOW FAR AMERICA HAS FALLEN

IN 2015, NEW YORK CITY DOESN’T CELEBRATE JESUS CHRIST, THEY CELEBRATE LGBT PRIDE.

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV)
Today, I saw a photograph online that was stunning to me on more than just one level. It’s a photograph of the Lower Manhattan skyline in New York City, on an Easter morning in 1956. Here it is:

As A Christian, I rejoice seeing this very public display of the celebration of theResurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in what is arguably the most photographed city in the world, New York City. But as an American and a patriot, this 1956 photograph makes me immeasurably sad because I know that this could never happen in 2015.
In 1970, just 14 years after this photo was taken, New York passed the most permissive abortion law in America, one that defined the state as the country’s abortion refuge. Overnight, a new industry materialized in New York City, promoting itself to women across the country. The pitches were often blunt. A newspaper ad from the time inquired, “Want to be un-pregnant?”
Thirty-five years later, New York has the highest abortion rate in America. In 2000, the last year for which good data are available, 39 out of every 1,000 women in the state ended a pregnancy, for a total of 164,000 abortions that year. In America, one of every ten abortions occurs in New York, and in New York, seven of every ten abortions are performed in New York City. In absolute terms, there are more abortions performed on minors, more repeat abortions, and more late abortions (over 21 weeks) in New York City than anywhere else in the country. In parts of the city, the ratio of abortions to births is one to one.

If someone where to attempt to recreate the 3 Crosses photo in the day and age we live in, they would be immediately marginalized, vilified, and their “bigoted intolerance” of believing in Jesus Christ would lead to their being sued for hate speech. Don’t think so? Why don’t you try it and see. Better yet, why don’t you open a bakery or flower shop as a Christian and see what happens when you won’t make a sodomite wedding cake.

But you don’t have to worry about that, it will never happen. In 2015, New York City doesn’t celebrate Jesus Christ, they celebrate LGBT Pride. The 3 Crosses photo was last seen in 1956, but lighting the Lower Manhattan skyline for LGBT Pride occurs each and every year.
And that is the reality of the America we find ourselves a citizen of in the last days.

    I agree with you about how far this country has fallen but what concerns me more is the fact that we even refer to this weekend as “Easer” the goddess of fertility. Here is just one of numerous articles about “Easter”
    It really is amazing to me that the building that our culture refers to as the church continues to celebrate “good Friday” which blows my mind. I would like someone to explain to me how they get three night and three days out of a supposedly crucifixion on Friday and Resurrection on the first day of the week. Impossible! Mt.12:40 (The words of our Savior); For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
    His Father specifically stated that Passover would be celebrated on Nisan 14 which does not happen on the same day every year whereby Resurrection day would not fall on the same day every year on that we can agree. But then, who cares?
    The problem goes back to the emperor Constantine and the church of Rome. By the time Constantine came on the scene the church in Rome was so corrupt and had no knowledge of the Old Testament and they were unaware of other Sabbath days the Father had instituted so they assumed that Yeshua was taken off the cross on a Friday, (WRONG) and so in their stupidity they instituted “Good Friday” and the buildings have gone along with it ever since. We do love our traditions, don’t we. I have talked to pastors and elders about this and they don’t care. They will condemn other apostasies but don’t mess with theirs.
    Homosexuality belongs to satan and he is the temporary ruler of this planet but what excuse does the people of our Father have in continuing with the lies and deceit?
    The father gave us His Holy days to celebrate but somehow they don’t impress us we have made up our own with the help of the evil one and they are His Hold days because He stated that in his word. Lev.23:1-2 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts. NKJV. Our pat excuse is that they are Jewish Holidays, just like the Sabbath is Jewish day to worship even though it was instituted as the last day of Creation long before we heard about Abraham or the Jews.
    It seems to me that we read His word and believe what we want to and hold onto our traditions with a death grip no matter what.

    I’m fully aware of the history of the name for Easter, but it has always been for me and for most Christians, a celebration of the resurrection of our Lord. The other hardly crosses my mind. Despite the fact that December 25 is probably not the actual day of Christ’s birth, we celebrate His birth on that day. As for the Holy Days given in the Old Testament, what they represent has been fulfilled in Christ and they are “nailed to His cross.” If celebrating Him on those days is a problem with one, then let him/her celebrate the Lord in his/her own way. As for me, I will continue to consecrate our traditional Christian holidays to the Lord. God bless.

    There is a REASON why it is called EASTER in the King James Bible. In the King James Bible, Acts 12:4 uses the word “Easter” instead of the word “Pascha”, which means Passover. Which is precisely what Luke was referring to, the pagan holiday of Easter on that Saturday, and not the Jewish Passover which had already finished.

    the “days of Noah” [race-mixing]
    and “days of Lot” [sodomites]
    The question is… will you survive
    tribulation witout taking the mark
    of the beast… most of you already
    have it because you have embraced the
    “days of Noah.” And if Babylon is
    allowed to rock-on… most of you will
    also embrace the “days of Lot” and will
    attack those who do not embrace either.

    So as in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Lord. Sadly I fear we are now far beyond Noah’s day or even Sodom and Gomorrah. We live now in a country that has totally turned its back against God and his Son Jesus Christ. If God shows mercy I believe it will only be on an individual basis. The government, the media, the homosexuals, the atheists the public schools and colleges, have allowed God to be removed from the public eyes. Were mocked, blasphemed, called haters and Nazis, Jim Crow mentality. Even the priests and ministers, pastors and preachers have turned away from God’s word, twisting the Bible to preach love and tolerance to sin, and preaching only to itchy ears who wish to put God as one who accepts all sin now, and is not a judge but a kind of Santa Clause, and a benevolent soul who would not send anyone to hell, because there is no hell you see. Its all made up by the conservatives. Those who have made their money on pretending to preach the Word of God, while lining their pockets with silver and gold. Those who would teach Chrislam, prosperity blessings, name it and claim it, and refuse to warn the congregations from the pulpit. Those who preach from the pulpit, while working behind the backs of their congregations to get them to comply as they did in Germany. Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us sinners!

    Yup, and it makes me fume!!! I love my Lord more than this world… Yet I must say, as one who retired from the Military; my wife and I sacrificed to keep the hope of a “Christian informed” culture alive: only to have our noses rubbed in this type of dogs mess!
    It shows how wicked, and utterly deprived people really are by nature!
    They insult God, rather than honor him – and no amount of “preaching at them with the Gospel” can change that, “independent laborers” – as it is God’s work alone!!!
    So get in lockstep with the Lord in “spiritual obedience” to HIS leading; (if you really know HIM) and get ready…
    As 2 Thes 2 is well underway!!!

    Homosexuality is an abomination to God. Those who corrupt the flesh in this way have been seen in hell flowing in rivers of molten lava chained together. Flowing at 75 to 80 mph like blood in the veins of a body.
    Earth is faced with abortion unto armageddon. GOD DOES NOT WANT MURDER. Babylon will fall. New York will face the judgement of God for their sins have reached him. He is coming…..and he’s not happy.
    Prepare your garments. Repent for your soul will be required of you.
