FBI Foils Synagogue Bombing in Florida
The suspect "may have converted to Islam." You don't say?

The FBI thwarted a terror attack over the weekend by arresting a man who had been planning to toss an explosive device into a South Florida synagogue, reports Miami's WSVN news.
Federal agents posing as terrorists set up a sting with which they were able to stop the suspect, who "may have converted to Islam," sources say. The suspect reportedly wanted to take some type of explosive device and heave it over a wall into the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center on Friday evening when the center would have been crowded with Passover observers.
One local resident said, "We used to go there for services, and God forbid, it could have been us" Another resident said "Everybody says, 'I live in a small town. It doesn't happen here,' but the sad part is, it happens everywhere." Yet another local said she is horrified but not exactly surprised. "It's a very scary world, and you know what? I don't think that anybody is safe anywhere."
Sadly, this is true, and in no small part because Western elites have refused to acknowledge and effectively confront the unquenchable hatred of jihadists whose declared mission is the annihilation of Western civilization. And it's only going to get worse in the United States and Europe thanks to the massive influx of Middle Eastern immigrants we are suicidally embracing.
FBI officials have declined to comment further on the investigation. The suspect will appear in federal court early this week.
