Norway: Muslim charged for fighting for the Islamic State in Syria
A man faces trial in Norway after he was charged with fighting alongside the Islamic State group in Syria.
Western nations have still not begun to track effectively the jihadis of the Islamic State who are moving freely in and out of Western countries. Other jihadis, such as the mastermind of the Barcelona jihad attack, slipped through the cracks after the Spanish government tried to deport him.
Even the WaPo reported last winter that the Islamic State, which “planned to infect refugee flows to the West with mass killers…. has had some violent successes.” It was also reported by theGuardian that the Islamic State faced an “exodus of foreign fighters as its ‘caliphate’ crumbles,” and still these jihadists are not properly tracked.
