What does it look like to live out the great commandment to "Love thy neighbor as yourself"? Current events drive discussion around what it means to be nonjudgmental, to live as Jesus did. To nurture friendship and extend a hand to those around us, no matter their circumstance. To extend the grace Jesus gives us to our neighbors.

For a deeper dive into this important topic, check out author and speaker Hugh Halter's new book Brimstone: The Art and Act of Holy Nonjudgment. Learn more: http://hughhalter.com.

if you are not god, do not judge ANYONE by anything from race, gender, sexual orentation, mentality, sins or anything they've did
Period, or in the past. you are not god but you know that no matter what you god will love you as yourself. He knows you more than you think. He knows every, single, thing you do before you do it. It dosent Matter if you sinned because we're all sinners. Just ask for forgiveness to god. Because he loves you still no matter what❤️

I don't get why people get so offended by other people's sexual orientation. I mean it's not affecting them in any sort of way, it's not harming them. And doesn't cause damage to them. So why is it so important. People can do whatever they want. They are there own selves and want to be a certain way. And by saying oh well your gay/lesbian your going to hell or insulting them it would be as equally bad as punching an innocent person for nothing.
People cannot help there sexual orientation, gender, body, height, etc. its a part of them and always will be. It's not a choice. So why can't we just learn to expect it. I know in the end a lot of people will still disagree ( and I personally have no problem with what you believe, say, or do) but you don't have to insult or be rude. At least learn to tolerate and be a decent person. Learning that a person is gay/lesbian doesn't make them instantly a bad person. There still the same. But that's just my opinion. You don't have to like it or agree with it, and I respect that. But just remember we don't all like the same things and we're all different.

If Jesus would defend prostitutes and make friends with the tax collector then Jesus would love a gay couple with a daughter. He would tell them about Gods love for them and that they should let Jesus into the work. He never told the prostitution, "yeah, your a prostitute, cool." He loves and wouldnt care, besides where in hell does it say "thou shallnt date the same sex." Context people, context!!!! Read the surrounding story. As a christian bisexual raised in homophobia i know more than the average bear. I have been through "anti-gay therapy"

moral is Jesus wouldn't act like how homophobic pricks act today. You don't have to accept it but you don't have to be mean either.

Do people even realize that Jesus might be welcoming to the LGBTQ community (if u believe in him) since the Bible was written by men.

REPOST from Jan 2017 Watchmen Having Same Dreams Lemons of Sukkot

Published on Oct 1, 2017

The mitzvah of waving the four species derives from the Torah. In Leviticus, it states:
Leviticus 23:40 And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. English Standard Version
In Leviticus 23:40 the Hebrew terms for the four plants are:
‘êṣ hāḏār (עֵץ הָדָר), magnificent/beautiful trees
təmārîm (תְּמָרִים), palm trees
‘êṣ ‘āḇōṯ (עֵץ־עָבֹת), thick/leafy trees
‘arḇê-nāḥal (עַרְבֵי נַחַל), willows of the brook/valley
In Talmudic tradition, the four plants are identified as:
etrog (אתרוג) – the fruit of a citron tree
lulav (לולב) – a ripe, green, closed frond from a date palm tree
hadass (הדס) – boughs with leaves from the myrtle tree
aravah (ערבה) – branches with leaves from the willow tree

Isaiah 26
20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms
And close your doors behind you;
Hide for a little [q]while
Until indignation [r]runs its course.
21 For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.

Salvation only through Jesus Christ

We believe that, owing to universal death through sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again; and that no degree of reformation however great, no attainments in morality, however high, no culture however attractive, no baptism or other ordinance however administered, can help the sinner to take even one step toward heaven; but a new nature imparted from above, a new life implanted by the Holy Spirit through the Word, is absolutely essential to salvation, and only those thus saved are sons of God. We believe also that our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made to be sin and was made a curse for us, dying in our room and stead; and that no repentance, no feeling, no faith, no good resolutions, no sincere efforts, no submission to the rules and regulations of any church, nor all the churches that have existed since the days of the Apostles, can add in the very least degree to the value of the blood or to the merit of the finished work wrought for us by Him who united in His person true and proper deity with perfect and sinless humanity. (Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 64:6; Matthew 26:28; John 3:7-18; Romans 5:6-9; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:136:15; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 3:4-9; Titus 3:5; James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:18-19, 23.)

We believe that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in Christ and that repentance is a vital part of believing, and is no way in itself a separate and independent condition of salvation; nor are any other acts, such as confession, baptism, prayer, or faithful service, to be added to believing as a condition of salvation. (John 1:123:16, 18, 36; 5:246:29; Acts 13:3916:31; Romans 1:16-17; 3:22, 26; 4:5; 10:4; Galatians 3:22.)

The Extent of Salvation

We believe that when an unregenerate person exercises that faith in Christ which is illustrated and described as such in the New Testament, he passes immediately out of spiritual death into spiritual life and from the old creation into the new; being justified from all things, accepted before the Father according as Christ His Son is accepted, loved as Christ is loved, having his place and portion as linked to Him and one with Him forever. Though the saved one may have occasion to grow in the realization of his blessings and to know a fuller measure of divine power through the yielding of his life more fully to God, he is, as soon as he is saved, in possession of every spiritual blessing and absolutely complete in Christ, and is therefore in no way required by God to seek a so-called "second blessing" or a "second work of grace." (John 5:2417:23; Acts13:39; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 3:21-23; Ephesians 1:3; Colossians 2:10; 1 John 4:175:11-12.)

Sanctification

We believe that sanctification, which is a setting apart unto God, is threefold: It is already complete for every saved person because his position toward God is the same as Christ's position. Since the believer is in Christ, he is set apart unto God in the measure in which Christ is set apart unto God. We believe, however, that he retains his sin nature, which cannot be eradicated in this life. Therefore, while the standing of the Christian in Christ is perfect his present state is no more perfect than his experience in daily life. There is therefore a progressive sanctification wherein the Christian is to "grow in grace" and to "be changed" by the unhindered power of the Spirit. We believe also that the child of God will yet be fully sanctified in his state as he is now sanctified in his standing in Christ when he shall see his Lord and shall be "like Him." (John17:17; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 7:1; Ephesians 4:245:25-27; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 10:10, 14; 12:10.)
