Faculty at a public university in Virginia stand to make an extra $250 this year if they apply to join a semester-long lecture series on creating a more “inclusive” classroom.

James Madison University is offering “Preparing Faculty to Be Inclusive Teachers” for the Spring 2018 semester. According to the application, “[P]articipants will have the opportunity to hone their skills for appreciating, leveraging, and responding to diversity within their classrooms.”

In addition:

Participants will gain knowledge in areas associated with inclusivity and multiculturalism (e.g., race/ethnicity, nationality, ability status, etc.) and tools in managing group processes and difficult dialogues, addressing inflammatory and prejudicial comments, becoming aware of microaggressions and how to prevent them, and fostering more inclusive, equitable learning environments. Participation will enhance agency and confidence in making classroom environments more multiculturally minded and will create a community around issues of inclusive excellence.

Completing the series will earn a participant “a $250 stipend” if they attend all seven lectures. The money comes from an IDEA Grant from the Office of Access & Inclusion.

James Madison hopes for a more diverse and inclusive choices in classroom materials and learning objectives while helping faculty “develop[e] specific teaching strategies” to accomplish those goals. 

No word if they will encourage faculty just to simply teach the facts in their areas of expertise. One thing is for sure, they’re not going to pay them any extra to do it.

Heading off to college and worried that you might have to live with somebody of another viewpoint? Whereas that was once considered a standard feature of dormitory living, exposure to those you might otherwise not meet and thus getting outside of your bubble, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) considers it a problem. Having identified it as such, they went ahead and corrected it by creating Social Justice House.

What exactly does that mean?

The House will seek to grapple with present day issues while providing students a safe, supportive living environment designed to help them grow and further their ambition. Students will work to initiate conversations and activism around social justice 

Sounds like they're going to throw the best parties. What are the requirements of sustaining such a house?

House requirements:

• Participation in a beginning of the semester retreat to develop a sense of trust and community amongst participants
• Shared reading experience
• Active participation in monthly programming, including discussions, lectures, service projects and other educational and/or advocacy opportunities
• Field trip (TBD) to a social justice related site

Ok, but what exactly is it you do as a house?

Residents joining the Social Justice House will:

• Through discussions and programmatic efforts be able to articulate their identities and how these are impacted by systematic privilege and oppression.
• Through engagement with faculty, explore issues of social justice and interventions that can address oppression.
• Through self-reflection and collaboration with members of the community, increase their capacity to engage in social change leadership.
• Through community development, learn to engage in civil discourse and facilitation techniques to explore challenging subject matters.

Do you want to spend your college years thinking about how you've been oppressed or are oppressing others in a vacuum instead of experiencing things? Here are the requirements to apply for Social Justice House:

The Social Justice House welcomes all students who:

. Have an interest in pursuing social justice and civil rights programing at TCNJ.
. Are interested in living in a conducive environment centered around talking about current social issues in our society and TCNJ community.
. Have an interest to meet and get to know other students committed to social justice, civil rights and to integrate them in the campus and surrounding community.
. Have a commitment to organizing events, trips, and campus activities to promote activism for social justice awareness on campus.
. Have a commitment to promoting campus wide social justice and to become active social justice ambassadors.
. Wish to further their leadership abilities and strengthen their understanding of social justice.

Campus Reform asked TCNJ what would happen if a student didn't support a particular event in which the house chose to participate. If he, she, or xe skipped that event, would he, she, or xe be kicked out? TCNJ did not reply. One can assume they were greatly triggered by the question.

After a dismal performance in apprehending the culprits of the mass sexual assaults of the 2015 New Years’ Eve, Cologne police have swung into full action against a right-wing politician for an allegedly “anti-Muslim” tweet, German media reports.

Police have told prosecutors to investigate Beatrix von Storch (pictured above), a senior member of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, for criticizing the department for tweeting in Arabic “to appease the barbaric, Muslim, rapist hordes of men.”

German newspaper Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger reported:

Cologne police have filed the complaint against the AfD politician Beatrix von Storch on charges of hate speech following an anti-Muslim tweet. A spokesperson for the police confirmed that there are initial grounds for suspicion that the tweet posted by the right-wing politician could amount to a criminal offense. [Translation by the author]

Twitter also suspended Storch’s account for several hours. The tweet was swiftly removed by Twitter citing a company rule against hateful content.

Starting January 1, a new online censorship law comes into effect in Germany. Social media platforms operating in the country will face heavy fines if they fail to remove ‘hateful posts’ in timely fashion.

According to Germany’s state-run broadcaster Deutsche Welle, “companies like Facebook and Twitter have hired extra staff to monitor such messages.” Deutsche Welle further reports:

A top lawmaker from (…) the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party was blocked from Twitter and Facebook on Monday after slamming the Cologne police for sending a New Year's tweet in Arabic. (...)

The Cologne police tweeted New Year's greetings and linked to information on celebrating safely in a series of messages in German and other languages, including Arabic. Cologne was the scene two years ago of mass sexual assaults on New Year's Eve in which most of the suspects were described as young men of North African and Arab origin.

"What the hell is happening in this country? Why is an official police site tweeting in Arabic? Do you think it is to appease the barbaric, gang-raping hordes of Muslim men?" wrote Beatrix von Storch, the deputy leader of the AfD's parliamentary group.

The tweet was later deleted after Twitter froze von Storch's account and informed her she had violated hate speech rules. Her account was shut down for 12 hours. The Cologne police said on Monday that they had filed a criminal complaint against von Storch for hate speech.

The Cologne police who flung into action against a tweet that might cause more Muslim offense-taking took days to even acknowledge the mass sexual assaults which took place on the fateful New Years’ Eve right at the city’s main square two years ago.

Despite one high-level inquiry after another, city police have very little to show for in terms of results. Of thousands of migrant men who raped, assaulted and robbed more than 1200 women, almost all of them have managed to walk free. According to the interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, the state where Cologne is located, “Most of [these] cases will remain unsolved.”

Apparently in Merkel’s Germany, a supposedly hurtful “anti-Muslim” tweet constitutes a greater offense than actual crimes fueled by the German Chancellor’s open borders policy.

A mob unleashed hell on two police officers during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Paris, France, leaving them injured and shocking those who’ve seen the footage.

While no one has been arrested for the dastardly act, Fox News reports it was a “gang of youth." Other outlets describe the revelers as a “mob” or “thugs.” Quick thinkers will rightly assume the unruly “kids” could possibly be some of the Muslim migrants who have overrun European cities and brought their special brand of savagery with them. 

The Daily Mail described the scene:

The incident took place in the early hours of Monday following an emergency call in Champigny-sur-Marne, an area to the south-east of the city.

The unnamed police officer was filmed by gang members as she was kicked around by the attackers. The footage was then uploaded onto the internet by the group.

At one stage, her colleague appears so badly beaten up that he takes his gun out his holster, but does not let off a shot. 

French President Emmanuel Macron said, “Those guilty of the cowardly and criminal lynching of police doing their duty on the night of December 31st will be found and punished.”

The officers were called to a packed house party where many angry guests had been turned away and started fights in the street. A patrol car was overturned and destroyed. One of the officers badly beaten was a captain. The horrifying video of the female being stomped repeatedly in the head is below:

Does this look like the attitudes of foreigners who want to assimilate into their new cultures, or bring their own cultures in and change the city? It’s quite obvious. Shame on Europe for letting them run amok:

It was also reported that 1,000 cars were torched across France on NYE and that arrests were up over last year.

This is what happens when a country becomes a haven for jihadists and anti-Semites. Expect even more tragedies in 2018 if nothing is done about the problem.

Nothing beats bringing in the New Year with a nice Trump bash. Michelle Williams surely agrees, as she celebrates the start of 2018 with a reminder of what electing a Republican president can do to an already-oppressed minority. Oh, wait -- they're a majority. That would seem to destroy their whole angle. But alas, no: according to Williams, Trump's ascension to the highest office in the land is proof that women "cannot do or be anything they want."

Huh?

The All the Money in World actress graces the cover of the February 2018 edition of Harper's Bazaar, in which she waxes poetic on the hardship of being a woman, the corruption of Hollywood, and the realities of Donald Trump as Commander-in-Chief.

As for the last of those topics, Harper's editor Erica Wagner writes of Williams's experience on election night, 2016:

“The night that Donald Trump was elected, she says, she – like so many people – put her little girl to bed with a smile on her face, both of them confident that they’d wake to the first female President of the United States,' Wagner said of Williams."

Wagner failed to mention that that "first female President" would subsequently be a woman mired in deep, sustained corruption across multiple decades. She also neglected to note the existence of "so many people" who put their daughters to bed that night praying the corrupt politician would absolutely lose. But this is the mainstream media -- they live on a bubbled cul-de-sac at the end of Left-wing Street, in the gated community of Echo Chamber Estates. According to their blinkered view of the world, America passionately loves Hillary Clinton.

Wagner references that heartbreaking moment when reality looks like a white male billionaire making an acceptance speech and striking down hope for a feminist, socialist America:

"But the next morning, Wagner continued, Williams’ 12-year-old daughter, Matilda, 'wept – and was then very angry with her mother' after she found out who won."

Therefore, count Michelle Williams among those leftists who despicably inculcate their children with fear and dread over the nightmare of conservative values.

"Then, in her own words, Williams recalled how President Trump’s win affected her daughter...'I think in the moment she realised that everything I’ve told her, everything I led her to believe, was not true,' Williams said. Or, 'We are not equal, we cannot do or be anything we want to be.'”

Unbelievable. So: if American voters -- both male and female -- wish not to vote into office a woman who has intimidated victims of sex crimes, made vulnerable our national security, and sold political influence to foreign governments via a pay-to-play scheme, then women have no equality and no potential to fulfill their dreams.

On the plus side, the Left teaching their daughters they can be nothing may hinder the expansion of their dangerous political agenda. Otherwise, Williams is just one more Democrat attempting to sell the lie of misogynistic Republicanism. The truth, of course, is that America is less sexist than the Left wants to admit. In 2016, a large portion of the country voted according to principle, not sexual politics. Hence, welcome to Trump-led 2018 America. Meanwhile, don't disturb Michelle Williams -- she's busy having her own ideas fed back to her by the one-dimensional community in which she lives:

"Williams concluded, 'She and I have been in a quiet rage ever since, and I think the same is true for every woman I know personally.'"

Baltimore has become a sort of Chicago II with a murder rate equal to that of Venezuela. The Democrat controlled-city set a new record of killings per capita with 343 homicides in 2017. The Baltimore Sun calculated the rate to be 55.8 murders per 100,000 people. 

Residents believe a relaxed police presence is to blame for this increase, according to NPR:

For the third year in a row, Baltimore, Md., has had more than 300 murders, reaching a new record of murders per number of residents in 2017.

Some residents attribute the high murder rate to relaxed police patrols in the city following high-profile cases of police brutality. Officers have backed off in neighborhoods, like the one where Freddie Gray was arrested.

Gray’s case brought mobs of Black Lives Matter terrorists to the city as well as the Obama administration’s Justice Department which instructed police officers in new approaches to criminal justice. But that has severely backfired as officers have backed off keeping law and order so as to not be accused of police brutality.

Now, the city is dealing with the unintended aftermath of such drastic measures being taken.

“We wanted the police there. We wanted them engaged in the community,” Baltimore Pastor Kinji Scott said. “We didn't want them beating the hell out of us, we didn't want that."

"We need the front line police officers and we need the heart of the black community to step to the forefront of this discussion," the reverend added. "And that's when we're going to see a decrease in crime."

Unfortunately, the city is left to deal with Obama’s legacy into 2018 which has already recorded it’s first murder victims. WJZ reported two homicides in less than 16 hours into the new year. One victim was shot in the neck and another in the head and torso as he sat in a car. 

"What we have seen is that the police has distanced themselves, and the community has distanced themselves even further. So the divide has really intensified, it hasn't decreased," said Scott.

You can thank one of the most divisive presidents in history for that, pastor.
