Khamanei blames “all those who are against the Islamic Republic” for protests, death toll hits 21

Yes, this is not like the 2009 Green Movement. This really is an uprising against the Islamic Republic. If the Iranians crush it brutally, we can only hope it will rise again, and again, and again, until this monstrous and inhumane regime is destroyed.

(CNN)Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blamed Iran’s “enemies” on Tuesday for stirring up unrest in the country, as the death toll from days of anti-government protests climbed to 21.
In his first remarks since the demonstrations erupted last Thursday, Khamenei accused the nation’s enemies of “joining forces” and blamed them for the protests that have turned violent.
“The enemy is waiting for an opportunity, for a flaw, through which they can enter. Look at these events over the last few days. All those who are against the Islamic Republic — those who have money, those who have the politics, those who have the weapons, those who have the intelligence — they have all joined forces in order to create problems for the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolution,” he said, without naming any particular country.
Key developments
– Nine people were killed on Monday, including seven protesters, state media reports, taking the toll to 21.
– 450 people have been arrested in the past three days.
– Iranian President Rouhani slammed US President Donald Trump for tweeting his support for protesters.
– Trump called the Iranian government “brutal and corrupt” in a second tweet Tuesday.
– Authorities have restricted the apps Instagram and Telegram but users are accessing them with VPNs.
The protests have become the biggest challenge to the Iranian government’s authority since mass demonstrations in 2009. Around 450 people have been arrested over the past three days, according to state media.
The rallies began Thursday over the country’s stagnant economy and rising living costs, but they developed into a broader outcry against the government and intensified over the weekend. Many of the protesters are young Iranians tired of the lack of economic opportunity in the country.
Of the nine people killed Monday, seven were protesters. Six of them died in the central city of Qahdarijan when demonstrators stormed a police station and attempted to take guns from authorities, state media reported. The seventh protester was killed in nearby Khomaini Shahr.
A policeman died in Najafabad after a protester shot at officers with a hunting rifle, according to state media. Three other officers were wounded. A member of the Basij, a pro-government militia, was also killed, in south Tehran….

Former Obama advisers tell Trump to be quiet about the Iranian protests

Several key advisers to former President Barack Obama have poured scorn on President Donald Trump’s support for the protests sweeping Iran in recent days.
The former Obama administration, over a year later, still has not accepted that it is no longer leading America, and that the American people exercised their democratic right to vote in Trump as their leader. The public lost confidence in a so-called leader who betrayed American principles of democracy. Among Obama’s misdeeds, he:
  • Signed the Iranian deal, which released over 100 billion dollars into Iran’s coffers, enabling it to further fund its jihadi proxies such as Hizballah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc.
  • Airlifted 400 million dollars to Iran, which happened to coincide with the January 2016 release of four Americans detained in Tehran, such that critics called it a ransom payout.
  • Paid Iran some $33.6 billion in secret cash and gold payments, in monthly installments of $700,000,000, between 2014 and 2016, according to testimony provided before Congress by an expert on the Iran nuclear agreement.
  • Hid intel on Iranian jihadis in Syria in order to push the Iranian nuclear deal.
  • Tried to convince Argentina to give Iran nuclear fuel, according to former Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
  • Ordered the CIA not to support the 2009 Green Movement in Iran, because he was too committed to “diplomatic” outreach to Ayatollah Khamenei.
In fact:
In 2009, when the “Green Revolution” threatened the Iranian regime, Obama and his administration refrained from supporting the protests. Obama said that “we respect Iranian sovereignty and want to avoid the United States being the issue inside of Iran.
Respect for this brutal regime that oppresses its people, aims to obliterate Israel and funds jihadi terror globally?
Should Donald Trump’s support help bring the Iranian people closer to freedom with any measure of success — weakening the Iranian regime — then it would further show up the incompetence within the Obama administration as leader of the free world. Otherwise, the new Iranian uprising could expose even more about the unscrupulous partnership between the Obama administration and Iran, none of which is flattering or useful to Obama and his cronies.

In 2009, when the “Green Revolution” threatened the Iranian regime, Obama and his administration refrained from supporting the protests. Obama said that “we respect Iranian sovereignty and want to avoid the United States being the issue inside of Iran.”
That weak response, and the administration’s general lack of support for the demonstrators, allowed the regime to consolidate power.
Obama was more concerned with preserving the possibility of an eventual deal on Iran’s nuclear program than he was in removing the Iranian regime as a strategic threat or in standing up for human rights. Critics charge that Obama missed a golden opportunity.
President Trump has taken the opposite approach, vigorously supporting the protests and criticizing the regime.
But the Obama brain trust rejects Trump’s approach, and apparently believes the approach Obama took in 2009 remains the best one.
Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice tweeted a New York Times op-ed by former Obama aide Philip Gordon, “How Can Trump Help Iran’s Protesters? Be Quiet.” The author argues that supporting the protests, and taking steps to end the Iran nuclear deal, will only help the regime to delegitimize its internal opponents.
Rice offered no other statement of solidarity for the demonstrators.
Rob Malley, who had once been dropped from the Obama campaign for meeting with the Hamas terrorist group but found his way back into the administration in negotiations with Iran, also praised Gordon’s op-ed.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was in office during the Green Revolution, was more supportive of the protesters, but said merely that she “hope[d]” the Iranian regime would listen to them…..

Hizballah and Hamas rank at top of Forbes’ ‘Richest Terror Groups’ list

Eight of the ‘Top Ten’ terror groups in terms of income are Muslim, with Hezbollah and Hamas ranked #1 and #3 respectively.
We can thank “contributor” Barack Obama for releasing over $100 billion into the coffers of Iran — funders of Hizballah and Hamas — in the aftermath of the Iranian deal.
Another sobering fact are the unindicted co-conspirators who were found to be part of the Hamas support network in the largest terrorism funding trial in US history — the Holy Land Foundation trial. Yet still, Western authorities continue to appease and collaborate with these organizations (such as CAIR and its affiliates) as the anti-American, anti-democracy, anti-human rights establishment expands.
For starters, it is high time that CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood organizations be declared terror organizations, or outlawed outright, in the West.

One of the more far-reaching consequences of former President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran is on display in Forbes Israel’s latest ranking of the richest terrorist groups in the world, as in 2017 Iran-backed Hezbollah leaped to the top of list with a whopping $1.1 billion in revenue.
That is not to say that all their income stems from Iran. Terrorist organizations in general also fund their purchase of arms, training and salary payments to their members from such criminal activities as drug smuggling, money laundering, kickbacks, kidnappings, ‘protection’, etc., just as organized crime does.
But the nuclear deal, it should be recalled, allowed for the release of billions of dollars into Iran’s state coffers from the lifting of internationally imposed sanctions, and the unfreezing of its assets abroad. This, in turn, allowed the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism to open the spigots to its proxies, and the results can clearly be seen by comparing this year’s “Top Ten” list with the previous one, made in 2014. Lebanese group Hezbollah, which has been fighting in Syria for years for Iranian ally Bashar al-Assad, was then ranked fourth, with $500 million – only half of what it has today.
Hamas has $700 million
The Gaza Strip’s Hamas, meanwhile, is now in third place, having actually dropped a rung from 2014. (The Taliban now occupy second place, with a revenue of $800 million). Forbes lists them as currently receiving about $700 million a year, vs. a billion dollars three years ago. They have two well-known state sponsors, Qatar and, again, Iran. But in the decade since it took over Gaza, Hamas also became expert in extracting money from its own citizens.
According to Forbes’ 2014 report, Hamas makes most of its money from a sophisticated tax system aimed at, among other things, pocketing large portions of the international aid that flows into Gaza. It also runs hundreds of businesses, controls several banks, and has levies on all consumer goods entering the Gaza Strip. All in all, the report says, about 15% of Gaza’s economy ends up in this organization’s pocket.
ISIS drops to 5th place
There is a steep drop-off from the top three richest terror organizations to the bottom seven. Al-Qaeda and its affiliates are listed next with only $300 million. The Islamic State used to be the richest terror organization the world has ever known, with an annual turnover of around $2 billion in 2014, but its defeat in Iraq and subsequent relinquishment of territory have dropped it to fifth place with a drastic reduction to $200 million…..

Twitter Suspends Cartoonist Bosch Fawstin, No Specific Reason Given

Twitter just suspended my account this morning, with no specific reason given to me besides their claim that I violated their rules for “hateful conduct”. I have been on twitter for a number of years, and I was able to earn the following of 13, 500 people. I really enjoy the platform and the interaction I get on it, outside of the death threats, which I’ve received over the years on Twitter, but which Twitter didn’t always deem objectionable, after I reported them. There are at least two individuals who’ve threatened me on Twitter who still have active Twitter accounts.

I often tweeted about my comic book work, about Free Speech, against  overbearing governments, but mainly against the Islamic enemy who is motivated by Islam. For too many people today, stating that fact, that this monstrous enemy embodies “one of the world’s great religions”, “the religion of peace”, is considered “hate speech”, when it’s simply the truth, or true speech. Since Twitter didn’t give me a specific example of what they claimed to be my “hateful conduct”, I think it’s simply the fact that writing Honestly about Islam means that one will inevitably insult and condemn Islam, because to write honestly about Islam is to write about unspeakable things, and things that the social media masters do not want to hear.
If I’m never to be reinstated on Twitter, I think my final tweet says it all, with my anti-Jihad superhero, Pigman, holding up The First Amendment, with my accompanying text: The three most important issues of our time are Free Speech, Free Speech and Free Speech. Only by saying what needs to be said can we do what needs to be done.
