Hollywood Billboards Hijacked: ‘Oscar for Biggest Pedophile Goes To…’

The conservative street artist known as Sabo has struck again in Hollywood days before the Academy Awards broadcast. This time, he has covered three large billboards around town in Oscar-themed red tarps with stinging messages about the hypocrisy over the sex abuse scandals plaguing the film industry.
The signage style is based on one of the films to be nominated this weekend called Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The Hollywood Reporter describes the plot of the movie:
In the film, Frances McDormand plays the mom of a raped and murdered daughter who posts billboards with angry messages aimed at the cops in her small town because she thinks they have not done enough to pursue whoever assaulted and killed her daughter. “Still no arrests?” reads one of the billboards in the film — with black letters on a solid red background.
Sabo chose billboard locations near the Dolby Theatre where the Oscars will be held on Sunday and even stylized their placement from the film. The three signs, some measuring 48 feet wide and 14 feet high, state:
“And the Oscar for biggest pedophile goes to…”
“Name names on stage or shut the hell up!”
“We all knew and still no arrests.”
Sabo posted on Twitter that the stunt cost him $3,000. But he doesn’t appear bothered at all and boasted, “Riding Hollywood’s ass one billboard at a time.”

NYC Taxpayers Billed $180K for Muslim Women Forced to Remove Hijabs for Mug Shot

A settlement was reached for three Muslim women who sued New York City over having to take off their hijabs for mug shots. A total of $180,000 will be paid out to the women, each receiving $60,000 a piece. Not a bad haul for having to show your entire face during bookings like the rest of NYC does for free.
One of the women, a high school student identified in court documents only as “G.E.,” was arrested in 2012 for fighting with two other girls because she though they were spreading rumors. No criminal case went to trial, New York Daily News reports, but her civil rights suit against the city centered on the fact that she was “forced” to remove her Islamic garb. G.E. told the court that she felt “exposed, violated and distraught” while she sat in front of male police officers and prisoners to have her picture taken.
The two other women who sued said they were also “forced” to remove their head scarves — one at the booking center and another at the scene of her arrest, “where she was knocked unconscious in an altercation with a neighbor over a parking spot,” the report notes.
In addition to the payout, the New York Police Department has instituted new policies on hijabs and other religious headcoverings for those who refuse to remove the garments. Officers must tell the person they have a choice to take the mug shot in a private area by a member of the same sex.
Isn’t it strange how everyone demands equal treatment under the law until they need specialized treatment for themselves? Leftists always want it both ways.

YouTube’s Fake News Spotters ‘Mistakenly’ Removed Conservative Videos

YouTube’s army of 10,000 fake news moderators are said to have “mistakenly” pulled videos from right-leaning channels as they scoured for misleading information during the current hysteria over guns in the United States.
Bloomberg reports:
In the wake of the Feb. 14 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, some YouTube moderators mistakenly removed several videos and some channels from right-wing, pro-gun video producers and outlets. 
Some YouTube channels recently complained about their accounts being pulled entirely. On Wednesday, the Outline highlighted accounts, including Titus Frost, that were banned from the video site. Frost tweeted on Wednesday that a survivor of the shooting, David Hogg, is an actor. Jerome Corsi of right-wing conspiracy website Infowars said on Tuesday that YouTube had taken down one of his videos and disabled his live stream.
Google, which owns YouTube, actively censors conservative results and tags outlets like TruthRevolt as “fake news.” YouTube insists it “only removes channels in extreme circumstances” but admitted that some of the content was removed by "mistake."
An e-mail from the site read:
"As we work to hire rapidly and ramp up our policy enforcement teams throughout 2018, newer members may misapply some of our policies resulting in mistaken removals. We’re continuing to enforce our existing policies regarding harmful and dangerous content, they have not changed. We’ll reinstate any videos that were removed in error."
As the great purge of conservative media rages across many online platforms, Alex Jones's InfoWars has been an easy target for YouTube. Their channel currently sits at two strikes. One more, as YouTube policy dictates, and his channel will be permanently pulled. 
Because the National Rifle Association has been accused of enabling the Parkland, Florida, high school shooting, Bloomberg states, “Google and other internet companies are facing external pressure to remove the National Rifle Association’s NRA TV channel from their video streaming services.” Many feel the pro-gun information channel meets YouTube’s official policy of “harmful or dangerous” content.
It's funny how YouTube doesn't pull Islamic channels or videos of schoolyard fights as quickly. In their world, conservatives, or anyone with the slightest difference of opinion, are the enemy.

Chris Matthews Compares NRA to Assassins, Inslee Claims They Want to Arm First Graders

On Tuesday, MSNBC's Chris Matthews allowed, unchallenged, Washington Democratic Governor Jay Inslee to preposterously claim the National Rifle Association wants to arm first graders with guns. Furthermore, the host of Hardball himself compared anyone who opposes the NRA -- and, subsequently, its members -- to assassinated leaders Yitzhak Rabin of Israel and Anwar Sadat of Egypt.
As Inslee bragged of his participation in the 1994 assault weapons ban -- which had no impact on gun violence -- Matthews interrupted in order to essentially call gun advocates murderers:
“It’s almost like the Middle East — it's almost like the Middle East if you sign a treaty and you're Anwar Sadat or Yitzhak Rabin, you do the right thing you get killed. You lost on this. Tom Foley lost on the issue."
Huh??
Matthews went on to dismiss Speaker of the House Republican Paul Ryan's worth due to his refusal to support anti-gun politics:
“[I've] never bought that Paul Ryan argument that he's so great.”
After providing a litany of legislative anti-gun measures, Inslee posited that Republicans in actuality do not support the 2nd Amendment as a virtuous right of the people, but rather, the GOP is merely a group of fully bought-and-paid-for liars:
"[They are] a wholly owned subsidiary of the NRA and we need presidential leadership and unfortunately, we're not getting it.”
And then, it happened -- Inslee made that all-too-typical Left turn into abject insanity:
"[Supporters of gun rights have] “absurd ideas that what we want is our first-graders to have a Glock on their hip.” 
What's absurd is that anyone would claim such nonsense.

The Hollywood Reporter is extremely concerned with the First-World problem that the Oscar statuette is male, so they "commissioned A-list artists, sculptors and designers to reinterpret the coveted gold statuette for the #MeToo era":
What would an Oscar statue look like if it were a woman? Top creatives dreamt up new versions of the iconic statuette, some influenced by recognizable Hollywood women like Grace Jones and Barbra Streisand’s character in Yentl — while others were inspired to create a more abstract take on the concept. “I wanted to reflect that Hollywood should be celebrating diversity whether it's ethnicity, body shapes, gender, sexuality or style,” says Louise Pomeroy, one of the 10 artists who participated in the exercise. In 2018, it seems possible.
There were several different designs, from those which stuck fairly close to the original to those which resembled a "gelatinous heap." Why?
"There is no form of the female body that can't be objectified," says Olivia Mole, a California installation and performance artist. "But no one is going to slap her on the butt when she's a gelatinous heap."
Okey dokey, then. This is definitely sane and healthy, right? I feel so empowered!
