UNITED NATIONS: Worse Than You Thought… The ‘Instrument’ Of Peace Was Actively SUBVERTING Peace

The UN is a failed experiment. Heads need to roll over this.

With the last surviving American hostage FINALLY coming home to the US, we are getting a picture of what happened in the week before he was kidnapped, how much the UN knew, and the REAL urgency behind launching the attack.

There’s a famous line about the ongoing conflict from a former Prime Minister of Israel, Golda Meir:

“When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
― Golda Meir, A Land of Our Own: An Oral Autobiography

Those are shocking and incendiary words, by any stretch of the imagination and difficult for Western ears to hear and grasp. It’s easy for us to dismiss it as political rhetoric… until you learn about reports like this one.

Regular readers will know that Clash has a lot of respect for Bill Whittle, Scott Ott, and Steve Green, often citing their videos. We will do so again. Instead the usual topics relating to domestic politics, this show reacts to a report by UN Watch’s Hillel Nuer, a Canadian who has been tirelessly holding the UN’s feet to the fire, especially about their indifference to Human Rights abuses that don’t fit squarely in their favorite narratives.

What Nuer revealed in his latest story should make us give serious consideration to evicting the whole damned cabal from their digs in NYC.

Short version: 5 days before the 10/7 terror attack, there was a meeting involving the Hamas Political Bureau describing ‘extraordinary action’ that would take place. (The terror attack, obviously.) The minutes of that meeting lay out the objective of that ‘extraordinary action’.

In the wake of the Abraham Accords that Trump’s administration helped facilitate, Saudi Arabia and Israel were getting uncomfortably close to reaching meaningful peace agreements. Hamas had to throw a wrench in those works.

They deliberately provoked a war in an attempt to prevent peace.

Steve Green brings Bill and Scott up to speed on the news of UNRWA having a direct role in culpability… as well as knowledge of the attack’s end-game of provoking a war that would preempt developing peace talks that would normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, severely undermining the ‘illegitimacy’ argument on which the genocidal project outlined in the original Hamas charter depends.

And UNWRA’s union chief was on the list of people invited to that meeting. They weren’t hiding it. It was entered in the minutes.

Israel has long echoed these concerns. Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated in November 2024 that UNRWA employees took part in the October 7 attack, calling the agency ‘part of the problem.’ By January 2025, Israeli officials like Oren Marmorstein and David Mencer went further, declaring UNRWA ‘infested with Hamas’ and essentially equating the two. These statements align with Neuer’s findings, painting a damning picture of UN complicity.

The UN loves to finger-wag at all the atrocities Israel has committed. They want to put Netanyahu on charges in the Hague. Maybe the UN should start with some of its own members, first.

Here’s the story they were referencing, with some screenshots from the thread.

We can expect all the usual skeptical pushback of documentary evidence of these meetings. But that creates a whole other problem for the UN defenders: where was that skepticism when they parroted Hamas casualty numbers, including numbers that even Hamas later admitted were grossly inflated?

Wouldn’t NYC be better off without degenerate ‘leaders’ from around the world flocking to do in the relative anonymity of the Big Apple the sorts of things that would be too scandalous to do in their own countries?

Isn’t it time we tell them all to kick rocks and go be creepy on someone else’s dime?

CHAZ/CHOP: Violent Left Targets Licensed Outdoor Worship Event… Guess Who The Mayor Sides With? It was a peaceful Christian gathering marking a dark anniversary Wes Walker May 26, 2025

CHAZ/CHOP: Violent Left Targets Licensed Outdoor Worship Event… Guess Who The Mayor Sides With?

It was a peaceful Christian gathering marking a dark anniversary

Dems and their parrots in the media pushes a narrative that the Culture War™ is the evil right attacking the innocent left. This story proves the opposite.

There’s an old line that, ‘just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you’. Anyone so naieve to think that faith isn’t one of the things that their politics ‘will take an interest in’ has not been paying attention.

An innocuous event in Seattle

Christian groups having an open-air praise and worship session, with a presentation of the gospel is a tradition as old as — or even older than — America itself. In fact, none other than Benjamin Franklin helped fund George Whitfield’s open-air sermons specifically because he believed they accomplished great good in changing the hearts of citizens of the colonies.

A Christian group in Seattle went through the proper channels, and secured a permit for an event this weekend at the same park that infamously became the CHAS/CHOP no-go zone in the riots of 2020. This week-end also happened to mark the anniversary of the day where George Floyd died (of causes in which the conviction of Derrick Chauvin and the official COD in the autopsy report tell stories that are still difficult for some of us to reconcile).

You can see in social media footage that they were singing, dancing, and declaring the name of Jesus. Pretty ordinary Christian concert events. Hardly the political barn-burner of whipping up animus that some want to paint it out to be.

That expression of their First Amendment rights to freedom of worship and freedom of assembly was outrageous to the usual suspects in the burn-down-anything-we-can’t-control camp of leftwing revolutionaries.

The Left’s reaction included violence, and arrests

Hundreds of ‘counter-protesters’ surrounded the concert, so that, as it was ending, no matter which way the attendees went as they left, they would be forced to run the gauntlet of people who hate them.

Not surprisingly, violence erupted, and 23 arrests were made from the leftist mob.

Seattle’s Mayor speaks out… badly

The Mayor was quick and decisive in making it publicly known that he was on the wrong side of a First Amendment freedom of worship issue, by slandering the participants:

Here is that statement. Key phrases highlighted in bold by ClashDaily:

Mayor Harrell Statement on Extreme Right-Wing Rally at Cal Anderson Park
by Jamie Housen on May 24, 2025
Seattle – Today, Mayor Bruce Harrell released the following statement:

“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice. Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.

“When the humanity of trans people and those who have been historically marginalized is questioned, we triumph by demonstrating our values through our words and peaceful protest – we lose our voice when this is disrupted by violence, chaos, and confusion.

“Anarchists infiltrated the counter-protestors group and inspired violence, prompting SPD to make arrests and ask organizers to shut down the event early, which they did.

While there are broad First Amendment requirements around permitting events under free speech protections, I am directing the Parks Department to review all of the circumstances of this application to understand whether there were legal location alternatives or other adjustments that could have been pursued. The Police Department will complete an after-action report of this event, including understanding preparation, crowd management tactics, and review of arrests and citations.

“I am grateful for those who make their voices heard in support of our neighbors without resorting to violence. In the face of an extreme right-wing national effort to attack our trans and LGBTQ+ communities, Seattle will continue to stand unwavering in our embrace of diversity, love for our neighbors, and commitment to justice and fairness.

Each of those phases set apart in bold could warrant a stand-alone column ripping apart the hypocrisy and seething contempt for anyone who has not exchanged traditional religious for their replacement secular creed to whose tenets the left demands conformity.

Heretics might not be burned at the stake, but they will be intimidated by the mob, and have their events disrupted by the self-apointed arbiters of virtue.

The police remind us that they’ve been gutted by the gross negligence and incompetence of the ‘leaders’ these clowns keep electing for themselves. They have neither the resources nor the mandate of their elected officials to protect the city in the way it needs to be protected.

Trump’s Justice Department weighs in

The good news (for the citizens, not for the mayor) is that the White House no longer has the clown administration that ran the show under Biden’s decline. Harmeet Dillon is NOT going to let statements like that pass un-replied to:

He’d best think carefully about his next move: she’s running the civil rights division, and she’s NOT suffering fools lightly.

The Bottom Line

The emerging militant left has a different ethos than The Framers, mainstream Christianity, or even classical liberals. They prefer the path of conflict taken by Malcom X to that of peace prefered by MLK Jr. Informed by some of the same revolutionary figures that toppled places like Russia, China, Zimbabwe and Cambodia, they have embraced political violence as a means to an end. Some even have it explicitly in their name ‘By Any Means Necessary’. Others, like Antifa, pose as ‘anti-fascists’, piggybacking on the near-universal contempt for the Third Reich as justification of their actions. Socialists and Communists have both been playing this bait-and-switch game since the time that Socialists and Fascists were competing for ideological control of Europe since the at least the early 1930s. And clown media like CNN’s Don Lemon have helped perpetuate the lie by falling for it hook line and sinker, repeating it as if it was gospel truth.

If you can convince the public you are against someone who is evil, nobody stops to ask if their new ally is actually ‘good’. But that logic falls apart under scrutiny, just like it does with Stalin, whose regime helped normalize it. Soviets were helpful in stopping Hitler. But routinely slaughtered millions of their own people. Brandishing one evil against another evil doesn’t make either of them good.

The hard left sees itself in a position of ascendancy, and like any group with tyrannical implications, when they believe they have the upper hand, they will move to crush their most relevant rivals.

News flash, Church: that means you. And since meeting violence with violence is NOT a path that Jesus leaves open to us when interacting with those who hate us, we have to go back to the original template.

Repent of our own sins, so that our own walk with God has actual life to it, and love people (even our ‘enemies’) enough that we preach a bold message about a good God that calls us to something more than the emptiness of envy, resentment, bitterness, and violence that their side offers.
