The existential threat WND faces is ever-present. It’s like a dark cloud hovering over us at all times.
Yet, we have friends like you who have made sacrifices over the last several weeks to pull us through the gut-checking despair we’ve felt here as the pioneer independent online news source.
Trust me, it’s not easy being guerrilla warriors in the fight for truth in a world full of lies.
But, despite all the slings and arrows, I know in my heart I would never choose a different path than the one I chose. I’m sure I speak for the entire WND family, and we’re all suffering right now. We’re feeling real pain.
As most of you prepare for the upcoming weekend, please remember us. We’ve had to let many good people go just to stay in business. Others are working at subsistence levels. Some of us are working around the clock so that you can’t see how shorthanded we are.
We continue to face unprecedented challenges from the internet cabal, technical and financial hurdles and a culture increasingly dominated by lies and deception. I can honestly say, we would not be here except for the grace of God and your critical contributions in this hour of need.
So, it’s more good news and bad news. To remind you of our current goal to turn things around, paying off the bill collectors at our doorstep so that we can pick ourselves up from the bootstraps to fight another day: We need to raise $200,000 by March 1 and we are making substantial, steady progress. We thank all those who have contributed – whether it is $3 or $15,000.
With God’s leading and your help, I’m certain we can do it and save the world’s biggest Christian content site and the very first independent online news operation in the world.

- Pray for us. We believe in the power of prayer and we can often feel that support in our spirits.
- Your monthly contributions as your budget permits. That can come in the form of a monthly payment of as little as $3 and as much as $5,000 through our donation portal. (I’ll be honest, we haven’t received any monthly $5,000 contributions, but we’re always hopeful!) We have hundreds of people who take advantage of this convenient method to support the truth in an age of lies and deception. Why not thousands?
- One-time donations of $25, $50 or $100 make up the bulk of contributions we receive – probably 90 percent! Words cannot even express the gratitude we feel for those. I just want to give everyone a hug for those, but you’ve got to be careful about expressions like that these days. (:
