Many people have a confused view of what the Bible says in regards to self-defense. The law given in Exodus 22:2-3 says that if a man breaks into a home to steal at night, the home-owner has the right to kill him in defense. In daylight, when the home-owner can see that he is there to steal and not to kill, he cannot kill the thief in defense. In Luke 22:37-39, Jesus explains it is good to be appropriately armed. In Proverbs 25:21-22 and Romans 12:17, Scriptures say to not repay evil with evil, but to bless your enemies. And in Matthew 5:39, Jesus said if someone slaps your right cheek, offer them your left as well.
The Bible has very few laws regarding self-defense, but plenty of examples. When Lot and his people were captured, Abram had no problem rescuing him with force (Genesis 14:13-16). In Luke 22:36, Jesus advised His disciples to take swords along with their other provisions. Then again, David refused to harm Saul, even though Saul was trying to kill him. And Jesus scolded Peter for using a sword to fight off the guards that were taking Jesus away (John 18:10-11).
A left-wing agitator using the artwork and a pseudonym associated with a Rolling Stone and Playboy journalist has made serious threats to use muriatic acid for attacks conservatives at the upcoming Demand Free Speech rally on July 6 in Washington DC, according to Big League Politics.
“I just want to toss as many balloons of Muriatic acid in the faces as many Proud Boys I can [sic],” wrote the user “POUND ON YOUR BOY” on a popular right-wing Telegram channel, prompting event co-organizer Enrique Tarrio to contact the FBI and DHS, who will now assist with security at the event.
“I just want to blind as many of you cock suckers are possible [sic],” said the user, adding “We already have the Muriatic acid, wax, and balloons.”
Tarrio told BLP that the threat is particularly dangerous due to the use of wax.
Muriatic acid can be purchased in virtually any pool store or home improvement store, and is already dangerous on its own with the ability to cause minor burns, but can quickly be washed off with water. By combining the muriatic acid with wax, it will immediately form a film similar to candle wax on the injured person’s skin.Tarrio explains that this could allow the burn to become severe, and even lead to the wax and acid entering the injured person’s bloodstream and causing cardiac arrest.
“It starts with milkshakes, then it escalates to what happened to Andy Ngo,” said Tarrio – referring to the conservative journalist who was brutally attacked during a demonstration in Portland, Oregon last weekend. “and now they’re threatening us with acid attacks,” Tarrio continued. “All because we want to defend free speech in Washington, D.C.”
“We will not be intimidated with these tactics of fear and fascism. We will celebrate our First Amendment without apology.”

Both the phrase and artwork associated with the name “POUND ON YOUR BOY” were created by Rolling Stone and Playboy journalist Fagan Kuhnmuench, who according to Big League Politics, has written extensively in support of Antifa.

Kuhnmuench told Big League Politics via Twitter DM that he didn’t make the threats over Telegram, and that he doesn’t have a Telegram account. And while he encouraged people to use his art, Kuhnmuench had no explanation for why someone would use his pseudonym. Source

The Bible says that Christians are called to peace (Matthew 5:9; 1 Corinthians 7:15). We absolutely should not try to rile up hate or violence in or toward a people group. “Prejudicial action,” however, is an ill-defined slippery slope. If the choice is between absolute liberty and God’s standards, we should follow God’s standards.
It is wrong to use words to incite others to hate Muslims, but it is also wrong to allow Muslims the freedom of religion in matters that contradict human rights such as honor killings and child brides.

Romans 12:18 says, “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” While we should not seek to be offensive, our priority is to the truth. Living our faith should be done sensitively without compromising fact or biblical truth.

“Pedophile” has reverberated throughout America. But beneath our anger and revulsion, a fundamental question pulsates: Are those who abuse their positions of trust to prey upon children—a category certainly not limited to those in religious orders—sick … or are they evil? We need the answer to that fundamental question. Because, without the truth, we cannot act. And until we act, nothing will change.
My job is protecting children. It has taken me from big cities to rural outposts, from ghettos to penthouses, and from courtrooms, into demonic battlefields. But whatever the venue, the truth remains constant: Some humans intentionally hurt children. They commit unspeakable acts—for their pleasure, their profit, or both.
