Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts
Muslims from Gaza use incendiary balloons to set 100 fires in Israel in the past week
Turning to the United Nations won’t help. The United Nations is a tool of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and is viciously biased against Israel. Meanwhile, the Trump economic planto bring peace to Israel and the “Palestinians” has finally been announced, and essentially it consists of giving the “Palestinians” money so that they will turn away from their jihad. This is predicated on the oft-discredited notion that jihad violence is a result of poverty, and it has been tried and has failed before. As I show in my forthcoming book The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process, which will be out later this year and which you can preorder here, the “Palestinian” jihad is not based on poverty or a desire to regain “stolen land”; rather, it stems from deeply held Islamic imperatives that have prevented every negotiated settlement from bringing peace, and which will continue to do so.
“Southern residents to turn to UN to protest incendiary balloons,” by Tzvi Joffre, Jerusalem Post, June 30, 2019:
Residents of Israel’s South have decided to turn to the United Nations concerning the waves of incendiary balloons that have been launched from Gaza toward Israeli communities near the Strip, according to Channel 12.Heads of regional councils near the Gaza border and residents of communities in the area are looking into the legal options for turning to the UN in order to protest the disruptions and human rights violations carried out by the Hamas terror organization against residents of southern Israel….Despite a reported agreement between Hamas and Israel, 14 fires were sparked by incendiary balloons on Friday. Another two fires were caused by balloons on Saturday, according to a spokesman for Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services.A total of about 100 fires were reported in the past week, but no government officials visited the area or discussed the issue with regional council heads in the area, according to Channel 13.On Friday, some 7,000 Palestinians violently demonstrated along the border, where an IDF jeep caught fire after a Molotov cocktail hit it. There were no reports of Israeli injuries….As part of the understanding, Hamas is said to have committed to preventing the launch of the aerial incendiary devices and ensuring that the border protests are nonviolent.
