Oregon violates federal law, sets up racist COVID fund for black community only
The money is distributed just on the basis of skin color.
The state of Oregon and its government-supported racism gives us yet another reason for throwing it out of the Union (along with Washington state and California), as it enacted a program that excludes people from participating just on the basis of the color of their skin.
Just the News reports, “The Oregon Cares Fund for Black Relief & Resiliency states that it is ‘a $62 million targeted cash investment from the CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Fund’ intended to ‘provide economic relief for the black community, who are among Oregon’s most vulnerable groups due to systemic divestment and disparities widened and exacerbated by COVID-19.'”
