Dr. Evans predicted this development, and he was criticized for doing so. But only days into the new administration in Israel, we are seeing his concerns were valid. Let’s join together and pray for God’s ongoing direction and wisdom for all involved.

Jews in Mexico are building a so-called 'City of Torah' for young observant Jewish families and students who cannot afford an apartment in the capital.

Ciudad de la Tora is being built on an area that was purchased outside the Ixtapan de la Salle town, 120 km (70 miles) south of Mexico City.

Another reason for establishing the new city is the situation in the capital, which boasts Mexicos' largest Jewish community. Jewish residents there say their children are afraid to leave their homes lest they become targets of antisemitic attacks.

Speak Out For Those Who Speak Up for Israel

Dear Carl,

When David went to battle against Goliath, it looked hopeless. Goliath even laughed and made fun of David. But God is greater than any earthly power, and the giant came tumbling down. Today we are facing a battle against Facebook, one of the wealthiest companies in the world. In the natural it's hopeless, but with God's power and your help, I believe it's a battle we can win.

We are using every means at our disposal to win this battle. I have been to both Jerusalem and Washington, asking for help from those who are friends of Israel. We have written appeals, and we are pursuing the legal avenues that are available to us. Make no mistake, this is a fight that we must win—not just for the sake of this great global prayer movement, but for the future of Israel.

At the same time we are fighting this battle, we are using your Friends of Zion Center as a headquarters to provide help and hope to those who have been injured, lost their homes, or are suffering because of the brutal terrorist attacks. We need your help to ensure that our pro-Israel voice is not silenced, and that the urgent needs of the Jewish people can be met.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Finding Affirmation

Let them no longer fool themselves by trusting in empty riches, for emptiness will be their only reward. —Job 15:31 NLT

Jesus did not owe us forgiveness or salvation. He gave His life freely for all. Instead of having to earn His love, we only have to accept His free gift. Just as the old song says, “He paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay.”

We cannot activate the Word of God or live in His favor while wallowing in discouragement and defeat. But without a revelation of God’s love for us, we will waste time seeking approval from other sources. People often look for affirmation and fulfillment from their careers, their spouses, their possessions, or their friends.

However, there is a God-sized vacuum in everyone’s spirit, and nothing can fill it except the Creator. Take a few minutes to allow the Spirit of God to search your heart. Have you been trying to seek approval and fill your God-sized vacuum with other things?
