Missouri priest puts parish in legal jeopardy

Catholic Church leaders seem to be doing everything they can to cooperate with global health bureaucrats pushing the experimental COVID jab. A parish in Missouri is taking pressure tactics to the limit. Church Militant’s Kristine Christlieb was at the scene Sunday to report on the pastor’s latest move.
Ken Battis: “This pastor is absolutely intimidating, bullying, putting pressure on — trying to force people or coerce people into being vaccinated.”
Protestors, police cars and Knights of Columbus guards greeted parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church outside St. Louis, where they could receive Holy Communion and then receive a so-called vaccine tainted with aborted fetal cell lines.
Pro-life Catholics in the area are stunned.
Julie Snyder: “We are working so, so very hard to protect the lives of the unborn.”
The parish’s vaccine clinic is partnering with the county health department.
One liability expert believes the clinic’s participation in administering the jab is ill-advised.
Battis: “Everybody I know in the industry thinks they’re coming — claims from people who are going to allege they’ve been injured by this vaccine, either seriously harmed or killed.”
When St. Joseph’s pastor, Fr. James Callahan, refused to talk with concerned Catholics about their ethical, medical and legal liability concerns, Battis sent him a letter warning him his parish could be sued in the future and not to destroy any documents related to the clinic.
Battis: "I wanted them to understand — you’re not only putting yourself at risk, you’re putting parishioners at risk. You're putting the collection plate at risk, and you should be held accountable for that."
The archdiocese claims its assets and those of its parishes are safe from vaccine lawsuits. But few Catholics are feeling reassured.
