And now Hollywood is going to ruin a timeless Christmas classic with this woke reboot.
It’s a Wonderful Life is one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time.
The 1946 classic tells the story of George Bailey who’s visited by his guardian angel, Clarence, on Christmas Eve to show him the impact he’s had on the lives of the people around him.
The United States Library of Congress declared the movie was “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant” and put it into the National Film Registry.
The black-and-white film has come under fire from the woke outrage mob for its lack of minority characters and alleged misogyny.
Hollywood is remaking the film to make it more inclusive and up-to-date with the current times.
Kenya Barris, the creator of the woke sitcom black-ish, said that he was going to remake It’s a Wonderful Life with the main character becoming a person of color.
“I feel like Christmas movies are amazing and I think the idea of taking something that has that long of a history and a tale behind it and putting an amazing piece of talent to tell that story,” Barris told Variety.
“It’s a guy who’s trying to help out his community and things are going to turn around on him. I think that’s the perfect story to tell for a person of color – black or brown – to get into that ‘cause our communities have some issues and someone trying to help that community out,” Barris added. “I think that’s the perfect vehicle to tell that story from.”
It’s a Wonderful Life still airs on television every Christmas season and is considered a timeless classic by audiences.
Barris is a left-wing hack who used black-ish to attack former President Donald Trump and push a woke political agenda.
Trump slammed the show for being racist.
“How is ABC Television allowed to have a show entitled ‘Blackish’? Can you imagine the furor of a show, ‘Whiteish’! Racism at highest level?” Trump wrote on social media.
He’s also planning on remaking The Wizard of Oz to make it more “diverse.”
Kansas will be replaced by Inglewood, California in the story, which will see “diverse characters” added to the mix.
Barris said on The Tonight Show that Dorothy “lives in Inglewood, and someone comes up and she ends up in Underhood, which is right outside of Oz, and it takes place from there.”
He said that he wants to continue to remake classic movies despite the criticism he’s received for it.
The Left is trying to remake and revise classic movies to force them to comply with their woke sensibilities.
