So many of you have requested prayer this week in the comments. I just wanted to say how grateful I am for a community not only to talk about end-times events and prophecy, but also to support one another. I see one commenter raise up a prayer request, and dozens more chime in with written prayers on that person’s behalf. This is the Body of Christ in action, and I am reading these comments and appreciating them. What a wonderful community subscribers like you have helped us create. I’m thankful. Now, on to this week’s Saturday Seven… 1. Wisdom from ScriptureMy soul clings to the dust; 2. Quote to Consider“From the very beginning of Creation, the Lord laid out how much time He would allot to human history, and we are at the end of that allotment. God is not arbitrary with His plans. The end is not coming because of anything humanity has done. We are so much better and so much worse than generations who have gone before us. Even so, it is God who keeps a master calendar and master clock. We only happen to be the people living on earth when those run out.” [from my book Tipping Point: The End is Here] 3. Pay Attention to This NewsCIA Director William Burns is meeting in Europe this weekend with Israel’s Mossad chief David Barnea, along with the prime minister and foreign minister of Qatar, to discuss releasing the remaining 132 hostages taken by Hamas on October 7. They will also be discussing a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. Burns and Barnea were instrumental in brokering the late November truce that lasted only a few days, but resulted in the release of 105 hostages. According to reports, the agreement being discussed would see a longer pause and several phases of hostage releases over several months. 4. Comment of the Week“Thank you Pastors Jimmy and Mark for giving us accurate info about God’s Word to us! Love reading/listening to you both because it lifts my spirit and encourages me. Also makes go to God’s Word and check it out.” —Tipping Point subscriber Sabrina in the comments after Wednesday’s Tipping Point Show with Derek Gilbert, author of The Second Coming of Saturn. 5. Definition of the Week: TabernacleTabernacle: Not to be confused with the Temple, the tabernacle in Scripture was the portable place of worship for the people of Israel as they journeyed through the wilderness after escaping Pharoah in Egypt. It was also known as the “Tent of Meeting,” and God gave detailed instructions to Moses about how it was to be constructed. It was home to the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy of Holies and became the center of religious life for the Hebrew people. The tabernacle was eventually replaced by the Temple, which took seven years to build during the reign of King Solomon until it was destroyed by the Babylonians in the 6th century B.C. The Second Temple was built after the Jews returned to Jerusalem, then it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Its remaining footprint, the ancient Temple Mount complex in Jerusalem, will be ground zero for events of the end times. 6. Link of the WeekA couple days ago, Tipping Point contributor Brian Schrauger shared with me an opinion piece from The Jerusalem Post. It’s titled “Why we must all watch Hamas’s raw video footage from October 7.” The author, Trey Graham, is a Christian and pastor in Texas writing about a compilation of raw video images which appeared on social media channels run by Hamas and their supporters. Some of the videos are from body cameras worn by the terrorists or mobile phone recordings from first responders. They are graphic and unsettling and make very clear the barbarism of that day. At a moment when some are denying the attacks as false flags, this video shows how real it was. The pastor says we must watch, because this is our generation’s “Never Again moment.” Not everyone will be able to handle the video itself, but I do encourage you to read Graham’s perspective on it. 7.
