FOUR OFFICERS KILLED IN CHARLOTTE Four law enforcement officers were killed in a shootout in Charlotte, NC Monday while they were serving a firearm possession warrant. “I was in a state of shock,” said a neighbor who heard over 50 gunshots. “Those folks go to work every day to protect us.” Another neighbor described the neighborhood where the shooting occurred as “fairly safe” with “lots of families.” READ
