President Shares Sad News About Female Guardsman Targeted In DC Terror Attack

Sarah Beckstrom, age 20, served as a hero, has been killed by a coward

At a time when so many of us have so much to be thankful for, let us take a moment to remember those, like Sarah Beckstrom, who put their lives on the line to make possible the good lives for which we are grateful.

Nobody seemed to have answers for why streets like our nation’s capitol were rampant with crime. Until Trump took some steps to clean up the streets. Two months ago, in a Congressional hearing, Mayor Bowser admitted under oath that crime in DC had already dropped by 40%.

Since then, the FBI has continued to take drugs, guns, and known criminals off the streets. Even in a snapshot of murders by month, like the one from CrimeDataDC’s website shows the the murder rate falling from 10-20 per month to single digits… coinciding with the arrival of the guard. Streets are cleaner, people feel safer, and that came as a result of people like Sara Beckstrom who — contrary to agitators who celebrate the deaths of federal employees and political rivals, chose to take the risk of serving the country to make life better for others.

At 20 years old, we are told she had just begin this assignment being sworn in 24 hours earlier along with Andrew Wolfe, 24 who was also shot as part of the same act of cowardice, just steps from Lafayette Square, oppposite the White House.

News reports citing her father, holding her hand after surgery sounded bleak, with dad describing the injuries she had sustained from point-blank shooting to her head and torso as a ‘mortal wound’.

Tonight, the President confirmed that concern as he began his scheduled conference call with the military by announcing that moments before he sat down for that call, it was made known to him that Sarah Beckstrom had succumbed to her injuries.

Let those among us who pray remember her family in our prayers as they grieve the loss of their precious daughter.
