Nothing To Be Afraid Of
I was reading the letter to the Hebrew church again and just like ever other time, got excited and wanted to ruan around my coffee table:
Consider what this means. Every four years Americans inaugurate a president to what is called “the most powerful office on earth.” All it takes is his signature and whatever he signed becomes law. He commands the world’s most powerful army and with the push of a button he can bring destruction on entire nations. But as powerful and awesome as that is, it is nothing compared to the power Jesus’ death has given to His followers!
This access came available to us after Jesus was crucified, died, resurrected, and sat on the Right Hand of His Father! He is ruling and reigning in our lives, NOW! This victory came the moment the veil in the temple was torn in half. For the first time since Adam’s treason, we could go in and Yahweh could come out. For the first time, He would meet with us! WOWZER! THAT is amazing!
The word used in that passage from Hebrews means “with open, undisguised publicity.” Publicity for what? It is for the devil’s sake! It means we can say to every demon in hell, “I have a right by the blood of Jesus Christ to walk into the presence of God and talk to him — and he to me!”
Do you believe you have this right — that Yehoveh is willing to come out and meet you? If so, draw near to Him with a heart full of the assurance and confidence! We are not coming through the blood of a bird or goat or bull. No-siree, Bob! It comes through the blood of our Lord Jesus.
“Whenever our conscience condemns us, we will be reassured that God is greater than our conscience and knows everything” (I John 3:20).
So what are you waiting for? An engraved invitation? A special formation of the clouds? A special sign from your Tarot Cards? A prediction from your favorite astrologer? My goodness, friends. What are you waiting for?

Brothers and sisters, because of the blood of Yeshua we can now boldly and confidently go into the holy place. Yeshua has opened a new and living way for us to go through the curtain. (The curtain is his own body.) We have a superior priest in charge of God’s house. We have been sprinkled with his blood to free us from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with clean water. So we must continue to come to him with a sincere heart and strong faith (Hebrews 10:19-22)Wow! Now that just flips me out. We have absolute access to the very presence of the living God — and also for him to come to us! We have the ability to call out to the God of Creation and Judge of our World, known as “Elohim;” our Redeemer, in Hebrew, “Haggo’el;”
“The Holy One, Blessed be He, said to those, You want to know my name? I am called according to my actions. When I judge the creatures I am Elohim, and when I have mercy with My world, I am named YHVH” (Exodus R. Isaac 3:6)Think about this. We need to quit minimizing what this means for us. The religious folks will tell you, “Oh, don’t take that too literal.” I say, “Rejoice! Your Salvation has come! Walk in the power and glory of it!“

“He used his own blood, not the blood of goats and bulls, for the sacrifice. He went into the most holy place and offered this sacrifice once and for all to free us forever.I don’t believe anything thrills our Father’s heart more than when we cast aside all of our doubts, all of our hesitations and fears and come to him boldly, without being timid like a company of cowardly lions! He wants us to come, saying, “I have a right to be here. And even if my heart condemns me, God is greater than my heart!
The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of cows sprinkled on unclean[ people made their bodies holy and clean. The blood of Christ, who had no defect, does even more. Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself to God and cleansed our consciences from the useless things we had done. Now we can serve the living God” (Hebrews 9:12-14).
