WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
Luke 23:39-43 KJV
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Veril...y I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

One of the thieves on the cross next to Jesus went to be with Lord in paradise that very day. What did he do to be saved?
1. He acknowledged that he was a sinner.
"And we indeed justly; for we receive the due rewards of our deeds".
Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2. He believed on Jesus, that He was who He said He was and why He came.
"Lord, remember me...".
John 8:24 KJV
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Romans 10:9 KJV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
3. He asked Jesus to save him.
"Remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom"
Romans 10:13 KJV
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
No sacraments, no church membership, no baptism, no good works. Faith and faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ saves sinners.
