A great Bible commentator of the 13th century wrote that nowhere in the
world would one find a land which is good and bountiful when settled by its
people, but desolate when ruled by foreigners. However, this is exactly what God
promises regarding the Land of Israel, as it says in Leviticus (26:32), “And I
will bring the Land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall
be astonished at it.” This guarantees that through the ages, the Land of Israel
will not receive its enemies, but will flower for the Children of Israel. Take
part in the incredible fulfillment of "the sprout of the Lord shall be for
beauty and for honor" and plant your very own tree!
