Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts
Linda Sarsour solicits donations for “Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund” that’s actually Leftist activist group
Shameless indeed. And while we are on the subject of shameless and questionable financial dealings by Linda Sarsour, where is the $100,000 Sarsour raised for a Jewish cemetery?
In her own defense after controversy began over this, Sarsour tweeted out a list of organizations to support, including the Islamic Circle of North America.
The Islamic Circle of North America: “ICNA has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the ideological forebear of all radical Islamic movements — including Hamas and al-Qaeda. Documents show that Hamas officials have participated in previous ICNA events. ‘The ICNA’s hatred of the Jews is so fierce,’ writes Emerson, ‘that it taunted them with a repetition of what Hitler did to them.’ In his book American Jihad, [terrorism expert Steve] Emerson expounds: ‘The ICNA openly supports militant Islamic fundamentalist organizations, praises terror attacks, issues incendiary attacks on western values and policies, and supports the imposition of Sharia [Islamic law].’ ICNA was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document — titled ‘An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America‘ — as one of the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded ‘organizations of our friends’ that shared the common goal of destroying America and turning it into a Muslim nation. These ‘friends’ were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims ‘that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.’”
“SHAMELESS: Linda Sarsour Solicits Donations For ‘Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund’ That’s Actually A Leftist Organizing Group,” by Hank Berrien, Daily Wire, August 30, 2017:
On Monday, leftist icon Linda Sarsour used the tragedy of Hurricane Harvey to funnel money to a leftist political group with no obvious connection to the victims who were traumatized by the hurricane.Sarsour tweeted:…The site for Sarsour’s chosen charity, the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which is a project of the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund, writes:Rebuilding in areas impacted by Harvey will be most challenging for marginalized communities. Nearly a quarter of Houstonians live in poverty — approximately 550,000 people. We also estimate that there are 575,000 immigrants in the Houston metro area. We will work to move the material aid the most vulnerable hit by Harvey to ensure their access to critical services — from first response and basic needs to healthcare, housing, transportation, immigration. Together we will organize and advocate for our devastated communities, shining a spotlight on inequalities that emerge in the restoration of lives, livelihoods, and homes, amplifying the needs of hard-hit communities, and providing legal assistance for residents wrongfully denied government support. The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund is supported by the left-wing groups SEIU and MoveOn.org, among other groups. The Texas Organizing Project Education Fund’s parent organization, the Texas Organizing Project, was an organization morphed into by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), the radical group that was allegedly implicated in voter-registration fraud, vote-rigging, voter intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams. ACORN was disbanded in 2010, but at least 15former ACORN employees were convicted of voter fraud-related activities, according toDiscover the Networks.
