An earthquake warning was issued for the end of July, but no large earthquake occurred. A new forecast model indicates that indeed a large earthquake for that time-frame was unlikely. The new model also includes a tsunami indicator.

There's probably not going to be larger seismic activity in the first couple of days of August. The next magnitude 6.4 to 6.6 is expected to occur on August 5 or 6.
