Former Trump campaign aide pleads guilty to lying to FBI agents
George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser for President Trump’s campaign, pleaded guilty to making “false statements” during an interview with FBI agents who were part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to court papers.
He made the false statements to the agents on Jan. 27, the papers say.
