Left Celebrates as Illegal Alien Teen has Abortion After Court Battle

The Left continues their ghoulish adoration of abortion by celebrating a teenager who ended her pregnancy in its second trimester. The teenager in question was the 17-year-old illegal alien who has been at the center of a legal battle over whether or not she had the right to a free abortion in this country. The state of Texas, where she has been living, argued that she does not. The ACLU (which has no regard for the civil liberties of her baby) took up her cause, determined that illegals should be able to come into this country to end the lives of their unborn children.
After a federal court ruled that she is allowed an abortion, the teenager, known as Jane Doe, left the federally funded shelter where she stayed and ended her pregnancy. In a statement released by her lawyers, she said, "I'm not ready to be a parent. I made my decision, and that is between me and God. Through all of this, I have never changed my mind."
Texas' attorney general, Ken Paxton, fought this ruling as he could see this would open the door to illegal immigration for the purpose of abortion. He, too, released a statement, in which he said, "This ruling not only cost a life, it could pave the way for anyone outside the United States to unlawfully enter and obtain an abortion."
Liberals celebrated with such overwrought headlines as "Forced childbirth isn't the American way-yet," "In emotional letter, Jane Doe says 'no one should be shamed for making the right decision," and "Undocumented teen finally gets abortion after month-long fight with Trump administration." Of course, this follows headlines like "Pregnant immigrant is held hostage by anti-abortion zealots in government," so what can we expect?
It's a truly sad day when an organization that claims to be for civil rights takes a case all the way to federal court and allows the most defenseless among us to have its life ended because its existence is inconvenient. Yet, the Left celebrates.
