(JustPatriots.com)- In a recent interview with David Remnick from The New Yorker, New York Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared that President Joe Biden has a duty to use every tool available to help the American people, including using his Executive power.

Displaying her lack of understanding of our Constitutional system government, Ocasio-Cortez argued that the Presidency “is so much larger than just the votes in the legislature.” She said Biden hasn’t been using his Executive power enough.

In short, since Congress doesn’t have the votes to pass legislation she wants, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants Joe Biden to unilaterally implement her agenda by legislating from the White House.

Why is it modern Democrats in Congress are so eager to surrender even more of their Article One powers to the Executive branch?

What bugs AOC is Democrats, who have the slimmest majority in ages, are unable to ram through their unpopular agenda because they simply don’t have the votes.

In her interview with Remnick, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that Biden legislating from the White House is “entirely within his power.”

It isn’t in his power. But expecting AOC to understand the separation of powers would be like expecting a toddler to understand quantum mechanics.

For example, AOC wants student loan debt canceled. And since Congress just doesn’t have the votes to get something like that passed, she wants Biden to do it for her.

She bemoaned the fact that her radical agenda will never make it past Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin (not to mention the 50 Republican Senators).

In her interview, Ocasio-Cortez expresses her frustration with Biden’s “hesitancy” to wield power the Constitution doesn’t grant the President. She tells Remnick that Biden has a “responsibility” to do what she wants.

We must have missed the part of Biden’s oath of office when he vowed to uphold the demands of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the other members of the Squad.

Ocasio-Cortez told Remnick that the “present political moment” is critical because Democrats are running out of time to ram through their unpopular agenda.
