Democrats have ruled the city of Chicago for several years.
Like other places across the country, Democrat policies have turned Chicago into a raging dumpster fire. But jaws hit the floor when the Mayor of Chicago blamed his city’s ills on this one group of Americans. Joe Biden’s border crisis is turning into a disaster for Democrat-led “sanctuary cities” across America. In Chicago, more than 22,000 illegal aliens have arrived in the city since last summer.
The flood of illegal aliens to Chicago is draining resources and contributing to the city’s massive surge in crime.
During the recent Thanksgiving holiday, many residents did not receive a free turkey meal because illegal aliens were given preference. “Windy City has come under strain after the city was inundated by 20,000 migrants over the last 14 months, triggering a crisis,” the Daily Mail reported. “Many were bused north from the southern border, which has been overwhelmed by migrants crossing from Mexico,” the Daily Mail continued. “In Chicago, thousands of asylum seekers are staying at police stations and airports as the local government has run out of space to house them.”
But Democrat Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson refuses to accept any responsibility, or place any of the blame at the feet of Joe Biden for his open borders policies.
Instead, Mayor Johnson blamed the city’s ills on “right-wing extremism.” “What we’ve seen is a very raggedy form of right-wing extremism,” Johnson said. “Everyone knows that the right-wing extremism in this country has targeted democratically run cities and quite frankly they have been quite intentional about going after democratically run cities that are led by people of color.”
“Their intention is to create division and chaos because that is what that particular political party has been about,” he added.Of course, Johnson is referring to Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott sending busloads of illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities like Chicago who brag about being a “sanctuary city.”
“It is the same party that wouldn’t accept that President Obama was actually an American,” Johnson ranted. “It’s the same Republican right-wing extremism that stormed the Capitol, it’s the same right-wing extremism that refuses to accept the results of the Civil War,” he continued. “It’s raggedy, it’s disrespectful, it’s mean spirited.” Johnson played the typical Democrat race card by claiming any criticism of his city was due to the fact that he is a black man.
“It is abysmal and it is an affront to everything that is good about this country for the extremism in this country to use people as political tools to settle political scores for something that happened over 400 years ago,” he said. “They’re still mad that a black man is free in this country.”
Mayor Johnson is trying to blame the border crisis on “right-wing extremism.”
