Disney ruined Star Wars by hiring this woke director

Star Wars was one of the most beloved movie franchises in Hollywood history.
Now it’s a punchline.
And Disney ruined Star Wars by hiring this woke director. Ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm and began churning out new content beginning with 2015’s “The Force Awakens,” fans have been left wanting.
Under the direction of controversial studio chief Kathleen Kennedy, the sequel trilogy trashed established characters by making Han Solo a dead beat dad and turning Luke Skywalker into a loser hermit who drank milk from an alien animal’s breast.
Kennedy’s declaration that “the force is female” turned into a meme that South Park lampooned in an episode where the main characters find themselves in a world where Kennedy race and gender swapped them all under edict of making everything “lame and gay.”
Unsurprisingly, the franchise’s popularity plummeted with eight movies being canceled after the Sequel trilogy bombed out with 2017’s widely detested The Last Jedi and 2019’s mediocre The Rise of Skywalker.
Disney lost over a billion dollars on their movies over the course of the last year, now the studio is looking to claw back into the red with a new Star Wars trilogy.
But it looks like Disney is on the verge of another woke disaster. Kennedy tapped Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to helm one of the three new Star Wars movies and Obaid-Chinoy declared her film was going to be another girl boss special.

Of the five Star Wars movies Disney released since purchasing Lucasfilm, four featured a female lead.
The studio chief is a woman.
There is no shortage of female characters or voices shaping the Star Wars universe.Kennedy hired Obaid-Chinoy because of Kennedy’s “the force is female” mission statement.
Back in 2015 on a panel discussion, Obaid-Chinoy declared her goal in making movies was to make men uncomfortable.

When George Lucas made the original beloved Star Wars trilogy, Lucas admitted to crafting films with ten-year-old boys in mind.
That mindset offends woke Hollywood executives like Kennedy. Kennedy wants to remake Star Wars into a progressive political messaging vehicle.
That means picking directors based on fealty to identity politics as opposed to being able to put together a good story.
