Tipping Point Saturday Seven (1.06.24)"There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
I hope your first week of 2024 has been a good one. I know that there are a lot of you who pay close attention to this site. Occasionally I hear from subscribers who are “taking a break” from Tipping Point because they are feeling hopeless about current events. I understand this, but I also know that God did not leave us without hope. Why do I still teach and preach about the return of Christ? I do it because it is in God’s Word, it is central to the Good News shared by the early Church, and I really do believe we are in the end of the end times. And I tell you these things because I love people and I want every person I know and those whom I have not yet met to find hope and courage in the promise of Jesus’ return. Ultimately, our message is a hopeful one and I pray you experience Tipping Point as a hopeful place to be reminded about the truth of Bible prophecy.. 1. Congressional Democrats are also pushing against him. So far, Biden seems determined to continue supporting Israel’s military operation in Gaza, even though he has suggested directly to Benjamin Netanyahu that he shift to a more targeted attack to limit civilian casualties. The Old Testament refers to the Day of the Lord several times, in the context of periods of divine wrath (for instance, against Babylon in Isaiah 13:6). 6. Link of the WeekHundreds of names were unsealed this week related to the Jeffrey Epstein lawsuit connected to the convicted pedophile. He was facing federal sex-trafficking charges before he died in jail. A number of prominent figures were listed as friends or acquaintances of Epstein who traveled to his homes, traveled in his private jets, and had other ongoing contact with him. It’s further evidence of the depraved nature of so many celebrities, politicians, billionaires and others in his orbit. 7.
