VANDALS WRITE EXPLICIT PRO-ABORTION SLOGANS ON CATHOLIC CHURCH Abortion activists vandalized St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon, this weekend, writing explicit pro-abortion messages on the church’s entrance doors and sidewalk. Parishioners discovered the vandalism on their way to Mass on Sunday. The graffiti messages included explicit messages and the slogan “my body my choice.” St. Patrick’s was also attacked by vandals back in 2021.READ
FUNERAL FOR PRO-ABORTION BAPTIST CONGRESSMAN AT NEWARK CATHEDRALThe funeral for the late Rep. Donald Payne, Jr., D-NJ, a pro-abortion Baptist, is reportedly scheduled to be held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark Thursday, May 4. In his dozen years serving in Congress, Payne compiled a consistently pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ voting record. In 2022, he called the Dobbs decision an “absolute tragedy” and the “direct result of the continued radicalism of the Republican Party.”READ

WaPo ADMITS IVF HAS ‘ERRORS’An article published in The Washington Post Monday morning appeared to acknowledge “errors” in the process of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) which “are rarely made public.” The analysis piece titled “Most IVF errors go unreported, experts say,” described IVF practices as “opaque.” “When a storage tank at a San Francisco fertility center imploded, 4,000 human eggs and embryos were damaged or destroyed,” wrote the article’s author McKenzie Beard.READ
STEPHANOPOULOS TELLS PRESS TO BE BIASED AGAINST TRUMP On his show Sunday, ABC News host and former Bill Clinton Communications Director George Stephanopoulos implored the rest of the mainstream media to not treat this year’s presidential election like a “normal” race, pointing to the various criminal charges levied against former President Trump. FOX News noted that these remarks came “[o]ne day after President Biden implored the media to not treat the 2024 election like business as usual.” READ
CATHOLIC GROUP URGES GOV. YOUNGKIN TO VETO CONTRACEPTION BILLS The Virginia Catholic Conference is calling for state residents to urge Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin to veto two measures related to contraception access. The legislation also requires healthcare providers to prescribe contraceptives to anyone who asks for them. No mention is made of exceptions for faith-based healthcare providers that morally cannot prescribe contraceptives.READ

Bill Lee signed a new law requiring public schools to show students video representation of fetal development as a part of its family life curriculum. The Act specifies that schools must include “the presentation of a high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound of at least three (3) minutes in duration ..such as ‘Meet Baby Olivia,’ a high-quality, computer-generated animation developed by Live Action.”READ
