*******: A Time to Celebrate Murder, Bloodshed, and Slavery

The Islamic holy month has more to offer than fasting.

During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast, pray, engage in acts of piety and charity, and reminisce over warfare and bloodshed in the name of Islam.

Virtually every Ramadan features various Islamic authorities, personages, and/or institutes reminding Muslims to take pride in and celebrate various historic battles between Muslims and non-Muslims, or “infidels” (as in this hour long televised special). Among other things, such victories are meant to demonstrate the power, and thus truth, of Islam.

This alone should underscore Islam’s innate militancy in comparison to other religions. It further suggests that Islam is a worldly religion, one that takes pride and finds validation in something as corporeal and temporal as victory in warfare (with all the attendant collection of booty and slaves that entails).

By way of analogy, and to better appreciate Ramadan-time celebrations of jihad, imagine Christians gathered together in church during Christmas or Easter.  Then, the officiating pastor eulogizes the bloody military conquests Christians had over non-Christians during Christmas or Easter—even as the congregants cheer or at least feel deep pride in their Christian faith.

Not only is such a scenario exceedingly difficult to imagine—a reflection of how utterly different Christianity and Islam are from one another—but many of today’s Christians have become so anti-war as to characterize even self-defense as “un-Christian.”  That, at least, is what the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, seems to think: recently, while condemning war, he went so far as also to condemn Just War, the idea that war is legitimate when waged for just reasons (self-defense, liberating conquered peoples or territory, etc.)

Hence the double irony: most of the wars that took place on, and which Muslims celebrate every, Ramadan had nothing to do with just war, and were in fact aggressive and imperialistic in nature.

An article by the popular website AboutIslam.net makes all this clear.  Titled, “7 Remarkable Islamic Victories That Took Place in Ramadan,” it opens by saying, “Ramadan is a special month that’s full of blessings for the Muslim Ummah. It is not only famous for fasting and charity, but also for great Islamic victories that changed the world.”

Examining the list, however, there is no question that at least five of the seven military episodes it mentions—the battle of Badr and the conquests of Mecca, Spain, Crimea, and Nubia—were unjust, meaning they had nothing to do with Muslims engaging in self-defense or liberating their conquered territories and everything to do with Muslims waging unprovoked wars of conquest in search of plunder.

For example, although much extolled in Islamic historiography for being Islam’s first major victory over infidels, when stripped of its hagiographical veneer, the battle of Badr (624 AD) appears to have been little more than a caravan raid, driven by lust for booty.

Similarly, Muslims were the aggressors in the various conquests highlighted by AboutIslam.net for taking place on Ramadan.  During these conquests, Muslims invaded non-Muslim territories, butchered and enslaved their inhabitants, and appropriated their lands—and for no other reason, and under no other logic, than that they were “infidels,” non-Muslims.

The eighth century invasion and subsequent conquest of Spain, for instance, featured hordes of invading Muslims slaughtering countless thousands of Christians and torching their churches (in one notable incident in Cordoba, the Muslims managed to kill two birds with one stone when they torched a church with its inhabitants trapped inside).

Same with the Crimea.  Originally inhabited by Slavic peoples, Muslims—Turks and Tatars—brutally conquered it in the fifteenth century and turned it into an emporium of white flesh.  An estimated three million Slavs—Poles, Lithuanians, Russians, and Ukrainians—were enslaved and, according to a contemporary chronicle, sold “like sheep” between 1450 and 1783.

This is what Muslims are supposed to remember and celebrate during their holy month—during their equivalent of a “Christmas” or “Easter” season: the unprovoked invasions and bloody subjugations their ancestors undertook in the name of Islam against people whose only “crime” was to be non-Muslims.  (Little wonder that, so riled, Muslims not infrequently murderously assault infidels in their midst during Ramadan.)

Incidentally, taking pride in Islamic violence is not limited to “radical” sheikhs or websites; it is quite mainstream.  Thus, not only is the popular English language website, AboutIslam.net, considered “moderate” and meant to put a good face on Islam before infidels; the aforementioned article celebrating seven battles/conquests during Ramadan was published by the website’s “Family & Life” team.

Before closing, and lest Muslims truly believe that Ramadan is exclusively a month of victorious jihads, let it be noted that Muslims also lost a fair bit of military engagements during their holy month—the pivotal Battle of Tours (732), when outnumbered Franks halted Islam’s advance into Europe, being just one of the more memorable.

Introduction
by David Horowitz and Daniel Greenfield

Joseph R. Biden is directly responsible for the worst, most humiliating, most dangerous – yet completely avoidable – defeat in the history of American warfare. He has betrayed the country that elected him and that he is sworn to serve. Yet Biden has shown no remorse and taken no responsibility for the damage he has done. Instead, he has brazenly lied and called his own disaster a “success.”

Every tyrant and terrorist watched the humiliating retreat from Afghanistan and knew we were weak.

A few months after the fall of Kabul, Communist China completed its takeover of Hong Kong with rigged parliamentary elections. Right around the same time, Vladimir Putin began the military buildup for the invasion of Ukraine.

None of that was a coincidence.

Biden has weakened our military while arming and empowering terrorists. He has emboldened Iran, China, and Russia leading to threats and conflicts around the world.

The question is, what will Republicans do about it?

Republicans are favored to take the House and even the Senate in the upcoming elections. If they do, will they hold Biden and his cabinet members and military leaders accountable? Or, just like Benghazi and so many other betrayals, will they back away instead of confronting the culprits and beginning America’s climb back to greatness.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are not going to resign. Will Republicans have the guts to impeach them over decisions that were so bad that former British prime minister and staunch American ally Tony Blair has called them “imbecilic”? (No former head of state has ever used such an extreme – but accurate – term to describe the decisions of an American president.)

Biden is not going to fire the generals who should have gone to the wall to oppose his brainless decisions and resigned when they failed to reverse them. Will Republicans call for their firing?

The Taliban held a victory parade to display the American military equipment that Biden simply abandoned and left for them to take. These weapons include Black Hawk helicopters, thousands of armored vehicles, and countless numbers of assault rifles.[1] Enough to arm numerous terrorist groups all over the world. There’s no telling how many Americans or allies these weapons will kill.

Thanks to Biden’s lack of interest in American security and as a consequence of his decisions, the Taliban now control nine air bases including one at Bagram, which we spent hundreds of millions of dollars turning into a state-of-the-art complex. [2] Adjoining Bagram was the country’s largest prison which housed thousands of Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS-K prisoners who have been unleashed to kill more innocents. Those nine air bases will now become assets not only for the Taliban, but for China, Iran, Pakistan, and other Taliban allies.

Massive amounts of intel data have also fallen into enemy hands. The Taliban are using hand-held biometric scanners to hunt down and kill former American allies. And the Chinese and other enemy intel officers that go over what we left behind will learn a lot about American methods and neutralize the technical advantages America once had on the battlefield. There were thousands of state-of-the-art night vision goggles left in Afghanistan. These provided a decisive military advantage to the Afghan government forces allowing them to see at night while the Taliban could not. Now the Taliban and every terrorist group with access to its vast store of American loot will share that advantage.[3]

An American president and commander-in-chief loyal to his country and its citizens would never have made the decisions that Joe Biden did, which have put the lives of all Americans at risk. A loyal general staff would never have gone along with them. A decent set of leaders would have hung their heads in shame at the result of their decisions and been grateful that treason is no longer punished by firing squads, and then departed political and military life forever.

The first days of Biden’s misbegotten term in office should have warned everyone of what was to come when he began surrendering American interests to our enemies. Thus, the Biden administration scuttled the Trump administration probe into the Chinese lab origins of the coronavirus pandemic. Worse still, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the likely source of the lab leak, has once again become potentially eligible for taxpayer funding.[4]

While President Trump designated China’s persecution of Muslims as genocide, Biden squeamishly told CNN, “Culturally, there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow.”[5]

Under Biden, genocide and terrorism have become cultural norms that we are bound to accept.

Biden not only desperately pursued a renewal of the suicidal nuclear deal with Iran, he allowed the Islamic terrorist state to receive billions. He also ended the campaign against Iran’s Houthi terrorists in Yemen whose motto is, “Death to America,” and who had fired missiles at the USS Mason.

America’s enemies read these gifts as proof of America’s weakness under the leadership of an American coward who as Vice President had been the lone vote against killing Osama bin Laden and who had abandoned Iraq to ISIS.

The Taliban knew they had nothing to fear from Biden so they tested him by offering to let America control Kabul. Instead of protecting our withdrawal and exit, Biden declined their offer – an act so suicidal it was itself worthy of impeachment. He let the Taliban take Kabul and surround the airport to provide security, with deadly consequences to 13 American military personnel as well as Afghan civilians.

Al Qaeda’s allies, the Haqqani Network, controlled the checkpoints and surrounded the Kabul airport. American refugees trying to reach the airport were beaten by these terrorist thugs who didn’t let them get to the airport but opened the door for ISIS-K to come bearing rockets, machine guns, and suicide bomb vests. That’s how the thirteen brave Americans were murdered in Kabul.

And these decisions seemed not to be absent-minded mistakes, but calculated and deliberate.

Thus, in advance of the coming evacuation, Secretary of State  Antony Blinken scrapped the Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau created by Trump to evacuate Americans. He invited the terrorist-supporting UN to investigate American “systemic racism” while abandoning our people to the real systemic racism of the Taliban.

The Biden administration is a disloyal government that over and over has genuflected to America’s enemies and betrayed the American people, endangering their lives and the security of the nation. But while the whole Democrat Party goes along with these anti-America policies and the catastrophes they create, instead of holding them to account Republican leaders are playing their usual feckless roles, wasting their opportunity to nail the incompetent and disloyal president, along with his entire rotten administration to the wall.

Thus, House Minority Leader McCarthy has refused to move forward on Biden’s impeachment.

McCarthy admitted that the Afghanistan rout was “probably the biggest failure in American government on a military stage in my lifetime.” “Probably”? McCarthy also called for “accountability.”[6] But what kind of accountability does he have in mind if he won’t hammer home the horrific actions Biden has taken? And what kind of accountability is he seeking if he won’t move to remove Biden and his enablers from office?

Every Republican should be shouting “Impeach Biden! Impeach Harris! Impeach Blinken, Pelosi and Schumer!” Also: “Court Martial the Joint Chiefs of Staff!” who were busy imposing Critical Race Theory on the troops and witch-hunting conservatives in the ranks, when they should have been planning the Afghanistan retreat.

Many Republicans, including their leaders, who don’t understand the political war that Democrats are waging against them, think this is a bad idea. They think: even if Biden could be impeached, that would leave America in the cackling grip of President Kamala Harris. This is the type of thinking that accounts for the passivity of Republicans while Democrats are always fighting an aggressive war against them.

Nancy Pelosi spent four years attempting to impeach Trump on transparently bogus charges. Did this hurt Democrat polling despite its embarrassments, or did it help Democrat efforts to tar and feather Republicans and increase Democrat support? Nancy Pelosi is not going to impeach Biden or anyone else. But the American people need to hear what these Democrats are guilty of and calling for their impeachment is the way to do it. Impeach them for betraying the American people, endangering their lives and the lives of their children. This is how Democrats would conduct their political war if the roles were reversed. Republicans need to wake up and take the war to the enemy camp.

Meanwhile, as Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy sleeps, American patriots are on the move.

Dozens of flag officers have signed a letter by “Flag Officers 4 America” calling on Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to resign.

Republican leaders did nothing to protect some of our finest officers, like Lt. Colonel Matt Lohmeier, from being sacrificed on the altar of critical race theory when the incompetent military brass fired them.

Will they re-think the costs of their silence?

Where are the GOP leaders willing to fight for our soldiers and our nation by taking the fight to Biden, to his cronies and stooges, from Kamala Harris to Lloyd Austin, Anthony Blinken, and Mark Milley? What’s House Minority Leader McCarthy risking? A few corporate donations? The respect of the D.C. establishment?

Joseph R. Biden is the worst president and the worst human being to ever occupy the White House. Patriots should never forget this, and never let Americans forget as well. Afghanistan is a holograph of America’s future if Democrat policies prevail. It fell because of the treachery of the Democrat Party in selecting a dementia case and judgment-challenged politician to be president. Afghanistan fell because of the lack of patriotic concern by the entire Biden White House and the military chiefs, the lack of concern for the welfare of the people, the first responsibility of those who hold these offices. The military chiefs who are a product of Barack Obama’s politicized military were busily pushing a Marxist ideology on their troops – one that indicts America as a hopelessly racist country – while the Taliban terrorists were preparing their victory march to Kabul.

Americans who love this country need to heed the call to defend it because the hour is late and the nation they love is under attack.

Watch: Biden Tells On Himself, Accidentally Showing He’s Not Running The Show

Watch: Biden Tells On Himself, Accidentally Showing He’s Not Running The Show

While the President was visiting New Hampshire Joe Biden accidentally let the cat out of the bag.

Biden’s trip to New Hampshire was covered in clout, the administration was taking a beating. Their base was furious Biden wasn’t going to fight an evil Trump-appointed judge that ruled his mask mandate unconstitutional.

As the President loaded up on Air Force One Psaki held a press gaggle and tried to stop the bleeding.

A reporter asked, “On the mask mandate, why is the DOJ not appealing that?  And by not, do you — does the administration risk taking away some of your options for the future, especially if there’s some new variants?”

“Well, unless something’s happened when we got on the plane, I don’t think they’ve made any announcement at this point in time,” Psaki said. “So, as we’ve said, agencies are reviewing step — next steps, including the Department of Justice.  Traditionally following a court decision, that can take a couple of days.”

“We’ve said from the start that our COVID response should be guided by the science and data and by experts.  And just as a reminder, when we made this announcement, the CDC said it needed 15 days to assess the impacts of an uptick in cases on hospitalizations, deaths, and hospital capacity.  We feel — still feel that is entirely reasonable, based on the latest science, and public health decisions shouldn’t be made by the courts.  They should be made by public health experts. So, again, I can’t — I’m not going to get ahead of the Department of Justice.  We’ll let them make any decisions or announcements, but —”

The reporter interrupted, “So they might still appeal, is what you’re saying?”

“It typically — yeah, it typically takes a couple of days to review and make an assessment,” Psaki responded.

It was an attempt to calm the hysteria coming from the covidians who were panic-stricken about the mask mandate. But it was Joe Biden who really blew the lid off the debacle.

About an hour later Biden after touching down Joe was asked about the mask mandate and he replied that wearing a face-covering is now up to individual Americans counter to what Psaki had just said.

It amazes me that the two were on the same plane and they couldn’t get their talking points straight.

An hour later, Biden basically admitted he has no idea what was going on and that he hasn’t been told what to do yet.

After Joe delivered his speech a reporter asked Joe if his administration was going to appeal the decision and he answered that he hasn’t been briefed by the CDC yet and doesn’t know.

First, it’s the DOJ that represents the administration in court and they are the ones that would weigh if an appeal is worth it not the CDC. Second, how does he not know? He is the President of the United States Of America he’s the one that is supposed to make the decision regardless of the DOJ’s opinion.

In about a three-hour time period the Administration gave three completely different talking points about the mask mandate proving there is nobody driving this ship. Joe said that he didn’t know because he had no idea what was going on because somebody (or somebodies) are telling him what to do.

Later in the evening on the same day, somebody in the administration decided that they will appeal the ruling.

Biden Cabinet Member ‘Private’ Discussion With Congress About Joe Is Raising A Lot Of Eyebrows

Biden Cabinet Member ‘Private’ Discussion With Congress About Joe Is Raising A Lot Of Eyebrows

There was a story that seemed to slip through the media with little implications but it was a big deal. A member of Biden’s cabinet not only had a private conversation with members of congress, but he also criticized the President.

There have been a lot of rumors that the Biden administration is going to cancel Title 42 and even members of Joe’s own cabinet are distancing themselves from the fallout.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is “privately” telling members of Congress that “he’s concerned with the Biden administration handling of the border.

Sources told Axios news that Mayorkas is “frustrated” with the White House and in the event that Title 42 is removed he’s trying to avoid the avalanche that is headed his way.

“As Secretary Mayorkas has said repeatedly, Title 42 is a public health authority — not an immigration authority — and he defers to the public health experts at the CDC for any decisions related to it,” Marsha Espinosa DHS spokesperson said. “As he has also repeatedly said, we anticipate an increase in migrant encounters after the lifting of Title 42, and he is leading a whole-of-government response to apprehend, process and remove from the country those who are not eligible for relief.”

Mayorkas is worried and he knows that he is going to be left holding the bag.

From Axios:

Mayorkas also acknowledged his own concerns about the expected surge in migrants, two other sources familiar with the talks said.

In some instances, the secretary pointed members to the CDC, and said the public health agency is calling the shots.
Members and their staff told Axios that, after Mayorkas walked them through the DHS’ preparations for the potential border surge, they did not feel the administration had reached the level of preparedness needed to carry out the operation successfully by May 23.
Some of these private conversations took place before multiple House and Senate lawmakers began publicly criticizing the administration’s decision to repeal the border restrictions, and openly urged it to delay the repeal.

But Biden is planning on going full speed ahead…

“DHS has a plan and we’re working to implement it, and we will continue to work with Congress to implement the lifting of Title 42 in an as orderly and humane way as possible,” a White House official said.

The piece from Axios shows that even members inside the administration understand that Joe is out of his mind and are leaking to the press that the policies aren’t their fault. If these “private” conversations are being we can only imagine what actual private conversations are taking place.

The 25th maybe?

NEW: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has privately told members of Congress he’s concerned with the Biden administration’s handling of its plans to lift Title 42 on May 23, sources familiar with the conversations tell @axios https://t.co/aXFKMFNkWy
