Is Schumer’s Senate Speech About Tucker’s 1/6 Videos A First Amendment Violation? Jeff DunetzMarch 8, 2023 Share

By Jeff Dunetz and Wes Walker,

Now that Pelosi no longer holds that gavel, McCarthy has authority over, among other things, the release of the footage from January 6th.

The left is incensed over it. They are clutching their pearls. They didn’t care when private personal tax information was unlawfully leaked to the public. They hardly bat an eye when Trump or some Republican gets their rights infringed by a too-aggressive left-leaning government official with enforcement powers.

But allowing the public to see context BEYOND the cherry-picked details the ‘Impeach Trump’ activist crowd has permitted us to see, and suddenly it’s a whole other story.

News media wakes from two years of slumber and cries ‘foul’ that it might leak some important secret information. Or that they aren’t given access to this same information.

The same networks who were only too happy to air leaked Abu Garib information suddenly have grave concerns about government secrets being manipulated by people with agendas.

Today, without even a scintilla of self-awareness, Chuck Schumer himself used that ‘temple of democracy’ as the left has taken to calling the Senate to directly address the owners of Fox News. You see, Chuckie isn’t a big fan of the truth. Everything is politics. In fact, he would toss his family under a bus to get one more vote.

But in this case, he is throwing Fox News under the bus for having the nerve to show videos of the 1/6 riot Democrats in Congress have refused to share with the American public because it ruins the January 6th narrative they sold to the American people.

The First Amendment explicitly prohibits the government from pressuring news media about what they can and cannot write. But Schumer uses nothing less than the bully pulpit of the well of the Senate itself to lean on Tucker Carlson’s boss because he doesn’t like what Tucker Carlson is saying about elected Democrats and their misuse\ of the Capital Riot for personal political gain.

The first question that comes to my mind when I hear this is a simple one: “was that a threat, Senator Schumer?”

Nice network you’ve got there. Be a shame if someone we appointed were to do something horrible to it.

Another question that comes to mind looking at that video is how come no one taught him how to wear glasses? The tip of his nose must be sore.

Lego Goes Woke with Identity Politics for No Reason in New Toy Kits Warner Todd HustonMarch 8, 2023 Share

Lego used to be one of the ultimate toys of creativity, where kids could make anything they wanted, but now Lego is telling kids what they are making to satisfy woke identity politics.

Recently, Lego debuted new characters in its line of “Lego Friends” characters. But this new set includes toys that are “inclusive of gender, culture, ethnicity, physical traits and abilities, non-visible disabilities and neurodivergence,” the company said in a press release.

On its webpage, Lego explained its drive to wokery:

“3 out of 4 children feel that there aren’t enough toys that represent them. The re-imagined LEGO® Friends characters are more representative of the world that today’s kids navigate, inclusive of gender, culture, ethnicity, physical traits and abilities, non-visible disabilities and neurodivergence. The storylines explore the ups and downs of friendship, while the characters overcome challenges, obstacles, and differences in today’s modern world.”

The thing about Lego has always been that you can create whatever you want with them.

If you want to make a gay Lego dude, that is your choice.

But now Lego is forcing this wokeness on kids before they even get a chance to employ their creativity.

Kids don’t need this creepy social engineering telling them that their toys are transgender, have ADHD, or have gender issues. If kids want their Legos to have those qualities so that their toys “look like them,” there is already literally nothing stopping them from playing that way.

This is just virtue signaling to the extreme left. It isn’t catering to kids. It’s catering to kids’ radical parents and the extremist, anti-kid groomers they support.

MyPillow CEO Calls Ron DeSantis a “Trojan Horse”

MyPillow CEO Calls Ron DeSantis a “Trojan Horse”

MyPillow CEO Calls Ron DeSantis a

(ConservativeInsider.org) – MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has been an avid supporter of former President Donald Trump for years. When the 45th president questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election, the millionaire was right by his side. Even now, he is throwing his support behind the 2024 presidential candidate while attacking his competitors, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

During the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday, March 2, Lindell was speaking with reporters when he called DeSantis a “Trojan horse.” He accused him of having “money behind him” and giving Disney “everything they wanted.”

The MyPillow CEO was criticizing how DeSantis dealt with Disney when he was signing the Parental Rights in Education law, which progressives labeled the “Don’t Say Gay” law in protest. While Lindell thinks the Florida leader gave in to the children’s entertainment behemoth, he actually just signed a bill on February 27, giving the state more power over Disney’s Florida theme park, which was mostly self-governed up to this point.

Lindell also claimed “the media is covering up for Ron DeSantis” and urged listeners not to believe things they hear from mainstream news outlets about the governor. While he did not provide any examples to back up this “Trojan horse” claim, he did claim Trump is beating him by over 40% in polls, a number not found in recent surveys these days.

While Lindell is slinging insults at the Florida governor, who has yet to announce a 2024 bid, the GOP leader is notably absent from the CPAC conference. Instead, he is out on tour for his new book. Meanwhile, both Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who also announced a bid for the presidency, spoke over the weekend. While he has not yet announced an official bid, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also shared an address at CPAC.

UN Now Baselessly Claims Gender “Equality” Is 300 Years Away

UN Now Baselessly Claims Gender “Equality” Is 300 Years Away

(ConservativeInsider.org) – Many people and nations celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 every year. In light of this event, various governments are trying to pass new gender equality laws. Social influencers are helping by sharing famous females who have paved the way for the opportunities they now enjoy in this modern world. The United Nations used the event to draw attention to inequality between the sexes, claiming a balance between the two is 300 years away.

On Monday, March 6, UN Secretary-General António Guterres spoke with the Commission on the Status of Women. He warned that the rights of women around the world “are being abused, threatened and violated.” The UN leader called out Afghanistan, which is currently run by the Taliban, for the elimination of both women and girls “from public life.”

Guterres also criticized some nations for taking away reproductive rights, although he did not call any specific country out by name. Moving on, he said other places are no longer safe for females as “police prey on vulnerable women,” and kids are being kidnapped or assaulted on the way to school. After this list of attacks on women’s rights, the UN Secretary-General said gender equality is around 300 years away, although he did not say how the group reached that number.

Guterres certainly painted a bleak picture for women due to maternal mortality rates and mothers having difficulty finding affordable childcare for their kids. He used this dismal picture to call for governments and private businesses to take “collective action” to bridge the gender divide.

Guterres made sure not to make his speech all pessimistic, though. He highlighted how women and girls are constantly pushing different industries to grow and become safe spaces for females, including the historically male-dominated science and technology sectors.
