Dear Lord Jesus, 

I know I am a sinner. I pray that you will forgive me for all of my sins, that you will come into my heart and be my Lord, the savior of my life. I confess that you died on the cross to save me from my sins and I am committed to turning away from those sins. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can be born again. I ask that you give me the strength and abundant faith to overcome any and all attacks by the enemy, including my desire to sin so that I may serve you completely. 

I pray that you will give me discernment so that I may know all things that are truth, and the knowledge acquired from reading your Word. Use me this day as I am a willing vessel Lord, in leading others to your kingdom. Wash me as white as snow. Put a hedge of protection around me as I go forth in doing your will. Thank you Jesus for saving me, as I know that only through my faith in you that all this is possible. Amen

(Patriot.Buzz) – In a sudden turn of events shedding light on how things are run in liberal bastions, a big scandal recently unfolded in New York City when a bunch of employees from the public housing sector got caught up in a bribery mess.

Due to the number of people involved the Justice Department announced it was the biggest batch of bribery charges it has ever thrown down in one day.

Around 70 people who either worked for or used to work for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) were accused of taking money under the table from companies that wanted contracts to work on public housing projects.

According to The New York Times these individuals supposedly took more than $2 million in bribes to help these companies land jobs fixing up almost 100 buildings across all the city’s boroughs. In return bribers got a slice of around 10% to 20% of the contract value and sometimes even more.

A lot of the corrupt deals were for smaller fixes like windows or plumbing that did not need a public bidding process if they cost less than $10,000, which made it easier for corruption to slip through unnoticed.

These small contracts had already been flagged before as trouble spots for corruption, with some contractors even facing charges back in 2021.

Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said at a news briefing, “This culture of corruption at NYCHA ends today.” He described the whole thing as a “classic pay to play” setup.

However bribery is not the only problem NYCHA’s dealing with. The agency, which is the biggest of its kind in the U.S., looks after more than half a million people and has been under fire for not taking good care of its buildings, which apparently need around $78 billion in repairs.

The authority also faces complaints ranging from rats and leaks to busted elevators and a super long waitlist for housing. On top of that the Housing Authority is not collecting as much rent as it used to and it hit a record low collection rate of 65% in 2022.

According to the most recent Gallup poll, only 47% of people say they are “very satisfied,” which is a drop from 50% last year and barely above the all-time low in 2011.This downward trend in satisfaction hints at bigger economic worries. History shows that when Americans feel less content, it often lines up with tough economic times like the 2008 financial crisis and the recession from 2007 to 2009 when satisfaction levels dipped to similar lows.

The current mood is somewhat mixed and comes at a time when many see the economy as being in a rough spot: 31% of Americans consider themselves “somewhat satisfied,” which shows a clear sense of unhappiness too, about 11% say they are somewhat dissatisfied and 9% are very dissatisfied.

From a survey done between January 2 and 22, the share of U.S. adults who are happy with their lives overall — counting both “very satisfied” and “somewhat satisfied” — fell to 78%. This is a significant 5% drop from the usual 84% average in just a year since Gallup began asking in 1979 and marks the lowest level of overall happiness since 2011.

Before the pandemic hit in January 2020, American satisfaction was at a high of 90%, buoyed by strong economic confidence but COVID-19 quickly changed the economic landscape.

Still certain groups revealed they have not felt the brunt of the crisis and even report higher levels of satisfaction, like those earning over $100,000, married people, those who regularly attend church, individuals with a college education, Democrats and older adults aged 55 and up.

While most of these groups have seen little change or slight drops in satisfaction from last year, Republicans faced a significant 10 percen

A bi-partisan study from Congress took a look at the toll this border crisis will have on the country. They looked at a variety of factors, including how it will affect many American families. And they made this sobering prediction.

President Joe Biden’s flood of migrants will force down Americans’ wages over the next 10 years, says a report by the Congress’ non-partisan team of economic experts.

The Congressional Budget Office “estimates that [Biden’s] increase in population will put downward pressure on average real wages [emphasis added],” said the report, which was released on February 7. “Average real wages are expected to be slightly lower by 2034 [emphasis added] than they would be otherwise,” the report said.

A new report from the CBO revealed that the border crisis that erupted under Biden will hurt Americans’ wages over the next ten years. As more and more undocumented workers come into the country, companies will hire them over qualified Americans.

That is because aliens are willing to work for far less and do not pay taxes. Yet they can buy homes, cars, and other products, posing greater competition for Americans. Because companies will prefer to hire these workers, Americans will have to settle for much lower wages than they would have received, if they want to work at all.

Not only this, but the massive burden these migrants put on many communities forces government funds to be diverted away from helping Americans to accommodate migrants.

Already big cities are demanding billions from the federal government to house, feed, and clothe the many illegals that are coming in. Money that would have gone to infrastructure, education, and other needs will be spent taking care of illegal aliens.

And that’s only for starters. Americans have nothing to gain from an open border. Only big corporations, and politicians, will benefit from this crisis. This non-partisan team crunched the numbers. Yet it is unlikely anything will change soon.
