Shalom Friends, Greetings from Israel during one of the most
special weeks of the year, when the nation of Israel celebrates our festival of
redemption. On Passover we commemorate our thanks to God and joyfully sing His
praises as we remember what the Lord did for our ancestors long ago in Egypt.
Yet, not every Israeli family can enjoy the Passover holiday, as many needy Jews
suffer in poverty today in the Holy Land. Time is running out friends, and I urge you to join me in
blessing a Jewish family this Passover. As a small token of
our appreciation, we will send you a Passover gift from Israel for you to
proudly display in your home. As the verse states, “And you shalt rejoice in
your festival, you, your son, your daughter, your maidservant, the Levite, the
stranger, the orphan, and the widow that are within your gates.” (Deuteronomy
16:14) When Israel rejoices this Passover, may God rejoice and bring the
redemption that we are all praying for. Please help a needy family rejoice in the
festival of Passover and may God bless you and your family
richly. Shalom and Happy Passover, Rabbi Tuly
Weisz
