3 dead after gunman opens fire at Maryland business park

Three people were killed and two others wounded when a gunman opened fire at an office park in Maryland in a “targeted attack” Wednesday, authorities said.
The shooter, identified by police as 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince, carried out the 8:58 a.m. shooting with a handgun at a granite supplier store called Advanced Granite Solutions in Edgewood — more than 20 miles from Baltimore, cops said.
All five victims were employees of the granite store in the Emmorton Business Park and the shooter was associated with the business, but it was not immediately clear how, police said.

“This does appear to be a targeted attack on that business,” Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said at a press conference.
Following the bloodbath, police say Prince fled in a 2008 black Chevy Acadia with Delaware license plates — and authorities were still looking for him, according to authorities.
Gahler noted that Prince, who he said does have a “criminal history” without providing details, should be considered “armed and dangerous.”
“We don’t want anyone to take action on him. We want you to dial 911 and let us know,” Gahler said.
The two wounded victims were listed in critical condition, according to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Police did not immediately give a motive for the shooting.
Barak Caba, owner of a home improvement company in the business park, told the Associated Press the suspect was an employee of the granite store and had worked there for four months as a machine operator.
The shooting was being treated as a case of workplace violence and not terrorism, officials said.
Area schools were placed on lockdown as authorities conducted a manhunt for Prince.
The FBI was assisting local authorities to track him down.
