Hillary Keeps Campaign Donations Tied to Underage Prostitution

Hillary’s linked to a sex scandal - and for once, it doesn’t involve Bill.

After news of a Democratic contributor being linked to underage prostitution began percolating in the national news recently, left-wing politicians commenced to giving away their received donations to charity. One figure who has so far refused to let go of those funds is none other than disgraced Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton.
As the Washington Free Beacon notes, Jim Larkin and Mchael G. Lacey, co-owners of Backpage—a classifieds website—gave thousands of dollars to the Democratic Party in recent years. The online business found itself beset by trouble in 2012, after Arizona State University and the Phoenix Police Department determined that 80% of the postings in its adult section involved prostitution, including ads for underage girls. Beginning a slow burn for the site, that study eventually resulted in the National Asociation of Attorneys General petitioning Congress in 2013 to change federal law in order to stifle sex trafficking and hold Backpage and similar companies accountable.
Subsequently, legislation arrived in 2014 to punish companies that knowingly advertise sexual activity involving minors. In 2016, the Senate passed a resolution to hold Backpage in contempt of Congress for not complying with a subpoena requiring them to supply documented proof of their efforts to prevent illegal ads from being placed on their site.
As the online forum gained growing negative attention, politicians who’d received donations from Larkin or Lacey started dropping the dead political weight: Senator Kamala Harris (California), unloaded the money she’d garnered; David Garcia, an Arizona gubernatorial candidate, donated his funds to homeless youth and sex trafficking charities; former Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick promised this week to gift her received contribution to the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual Domestic Violence.
On July 26, 2016, Jim Larkin gave $5,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund. The money was then sent via that joint fundraising effort to Hillary for America, the former First Lady’s official campaign committee. So far, there’s no news of Clinton returning the money, or pledging to relinquish it to some public-relations-friendly nonprofit.
Until then, the failed candidate remains in possession of funds mired in a controversy of child trafficking, prostitution, and underage sex.
