Netanyahu: “Apparently I have a higher opinion of the Iranian people than their leaders”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday called on Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to shut down his Twitter account for using the social media platform – which the Islamic regime has banned for its own citizens – to claim that all Iranians support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Iran has long tried to push its nationals to further its jihadist ambitions against Israel and the West. It is no secret that Iran has been manipulating its citizens for years, pushing them to become a fifth column in the West. For example, in Canada:
Detailed personal and job information of Iranians and Muslim immigrants, and the level of their political and economic influence in the host country, is collected over time and then confidentially recorded in computer software. The most influential ones are then hand-picked to infiltrate and influence the Canadian government’s image of the Islamic regime, thereby affecting the political decision-making process and affecting policies.
Trump said in a speech last week, referencing Iran’s ruthlessness and global threat:
History has shown that the longer we ignore a threat, the more dangerous that threat becomes. For this reason, upon taking office, I’ve ordered a complete strategic review of our policy toward the rogue regime in Iran….Given the regime’s murderous past and present, we should not take lightly its sinister vision for the future. The regime’s two favorite chants are “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also threatened that ” no one would “trust any U.S. administration to engage in any long-term negotiation” if President Donald Trump ends the Iran nuclear deal.
