We were lucky enough to catch Tony Ortega (who has been covering the controversial Church of Scientology since 1995, and was featured in the HBO documentary, Going Clear) for an interview this past Sunday and, needless to say, it was informative and engrossing – we talked all kinds of things, including SeaOrg; Scientology’s stance on psychiatry; their dwindling numbers; the inhumane treatment of their own members; and of course their personal attacks, both within and outside of the organization.
