Australia: Three Muslims sentenced for jihad massacre plot, judge decries their “warped” view of Islam

Where could they have gotten that crazy idea? Could it have been from passages including these?
“And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out; persecution is worse than slaughter. But fight them not by the Holy Mosque until they should fight you there; then, if they fight you, kill them — such is the recompense of unbelievers, but if they give over, surely Allah is all-forgiving, all-compassionate. Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is Allah’s; then if they give over, there shall be no enmity save for evildoers.” (Qur’an 2:191-193)

Three men, who were inspired by the Islamic State group, were given lengthy sentences Friday for plotting a Christmas 2016 attack in Australia’s second largest city, a published report said.
The men, Ahmed Mohamed, Abdullah Chaarani and Hamza Abbas, were preparing a mass attack involving explosives and knives at Federation Square, a popular downtown restaurant and entertainment precinct in Melbourne, The Associated Press reported.
Justice Christopher Beale, seated at the Supreme Court of Victoria, said Chaarani, 29, and Mohamed, 27, must serve at least 28 years and six months in prison for their parts in the plot.
Meanwhile, Hamza Abbas, 24, who was involved in the conspiracy for a shorter period, was jailed for 22 years with a non-parole period of 16 years and six months, the AP reported.

  4. The problem, Justice Beale, is that ISIS has an entirely plausible interpretation of the faith. As a matter of fact judge, I challenge you to explain the difference between ISIS Islam and Saudi Islam. There is none.

  5. When in 46 places in 44 Suras the words are written according to the “Gospel and the Thora”. Which Gospel has been (mainly) meant ?
    And can this be a Right one ?
    Or had Muhammad himself begun to see doubts in Sura “The Romans”….?
    Was he possibly later murdered for finding the truth about the “Gospel” ?,

    Oh man, the left is so in denial over islam. It’s shocking to me that someone who is supposed to be educated like a judge can say something so shockingly false before the world. How can someone so deceitful or inept be a good dispenser of justice? You can’t. There seems to be this prevailing attitude among leftists that if they just ignore the ugly truths about islam they will go away. They try and use this adolescent psychology on muslims, thinking if they just stroke the false notion of islam being a “religion of peace” then muslims will be beguiled into acting more peaceful and less totalitarian for allah. But bullies don’t typically respond that way to flattery and fear, if anything it only increases their contempt for us. I truly believe they think we’re weak fools, and they’re are just biding time until their numbers grow and they can perform the final coup d’etat. I’m not suggesting they’re ALL diligently scheming to destroy us, but I believe virtually all would be glad to see it happen, and because they’re glad they’ll all help it occur when the time comes. Europe will be first, and they’re laying the foundation for islam in America right now with their thousands of mosques and infiltration of society. As long as we have traitors and fools in our midst like this judge we can be sure the fight won’t be easy. I guess all we can do is keep pounding away and hope more people gain good sense about islam and join the cause against it. I’m so grateful for good folks like Spencer. If a good god exists then I truly believe he is a gift from god because his work is so geared for helping us against the genocidal violence and stupidity of a certain religion. Sorry if that makes you feel uncomfortable Mr. Spencer, but after all, I am entitled to my opinion. 😉

        It’s hard to reason with people who deny reality. The violence in islam is barefaced and glaring, and so is the real world violence it has caused for 14 centuries. To deny it is as crass and ignorant as denying the holocaust. The left has put their heads on the block for islam. But they will not get gratitude in return, only more intimidation, more demands, and more subversion for islam. I’m proud to say I’m one of those who are fighting against the dissolution of our laws, our freedoms, and culture for islam. The filth and idiocy of islamic doctrines should not be a guiding force in any civilized nation on earth. It needs to be confined to the library shelves of human error and bad religion.

  8. Quran 2:191 should never be quoted out of context. Readers then assume that the “them” of the first sentence is all unbelievers. One must look at 2:190 to discover that the “them” are aggressors.
    “AND FIGHT in God’s cause against those who wage war against you, but do not commit aggression-for, verily, God does not love aggressors” (2:190).
    The slaying urged in 2:191 is defensive.

      Given that the koran teaches the OPPOSITE to God’s official Exodus 20 laws,the whole koran is “out of context”.
      oh,and al lah and islam missed {and violates} those essential Two Chief Commandments of God didn’t he?

  10. Recently in adult Sunday school we were talking about other faiths and the leader said we should honor all people’s faiths . I immediately said no , I will not honor an evil cult like Islam . I said I will pray for Muslims because they are children of God and are walking in darkness but I will NOT HONOR Islam . They looked at me in shock including our interim Pastor . Most people in the US are ignorant of Islam and no nothing about what the Qur’an instructs Muslims to do in life .

    Wh the judge would believe that these lowlifes are on the path to ‘deradicalisation’ and ‘rehabilitation’ is a mystery to me. It is another instance of taqiyya (deception).

This know nothing fool of a judge, when it comes to Islam’s nature, pontificates about what is a “warped” view of Islam and what is not. It must annoy people like Robert Spencer, who has actually bothered to do the hard work and learn about Islam’s nature, to have this constant stream of buffoons, such as this judge, along with various politicians, media clowns, et al, spout their rubbish about Islam’s nature.
