Report: ‘Terrorists and Perverts’ Received $924M

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY…
1929: St Valentine’s Day Massacre in Chicago, 7 gangsters killed, allegedly on Al Capone’s orders

Prison inmates received more than $900 million in taxpayer dollars under President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan last year.

Internal Revenue Service records obtained by the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) show that 645,000 inmates received stimulus checks.

“In one of the most inexplicable votes in Senate history, Senate Democrats sent terrorists and perverts $1,400 checks paid for by U.S. tax dollars. It is a vote that should tick off every American,” NRSC Chairman Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said.

“The Boston Marathon bomber and Larry Nassar are in prison for their evil deeds killing Americans and molesting children. They do not deserve our money.”

The checks went out despite efforts by Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AK) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA) to prevent stimulus funds from going to prisoners. In March 2021, Senate Democrats struck down the amendment in a 50-49 party-line vote.

“Senate Democrats’ shameful vote will live in infamy and will be a major reason why Republicans will take back the Senate and end the madness,” Scott said.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) argued that the children of incarcerated individuals would suffer if their parents were denied stimulus funds.

“Children should not be forced to go hungry because a parent is incarcerated. Relief payments would allow families to replace lost income and pay rent and put food on the table,” Durbin said in March.

“I would urge my colleagues to understand what we are facing with our criminal justice system today. We need to bring more justice to it and caring for the families of those who are incarcerated.”

The government also provided stimulus payments to prisoners in 2020 under the Trump administration.

The IRS attempted to block incarcerated individuals from receiving stimulus checks in 2020, but a federal judge ruled that the law does not contain a provision barring such individuals from receiving stimulus funding.

  1. What insanity, from this corrupt administration and the dumbocraps, They don’t give it to American citizens that need it the most.
