Ilhan Omar took everyone by surprise by what she just said about the Freedom Convoy

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is seen as a leader of the rising new brand of leftism in America.
But Omar just caught her allies and detractors alike off guard.
And Ilhan Omar took everyone by surprise by what she just said about the Freedom Convoy.
Hackers infiltrated the Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo because the platform allowed the Freedom Convoy truckers to raise money.
Journalists began combing through the data and intimidating the everyday Canadian and American citizens who donated money to the convoy.
This became a life-altering event when the Canadian government announced it would target citizens who supported the convoy as domestic terrorists and seize their bank account.
One small business owner named Tammy Giuliani donated $250 to the Convoy.
After the hack, Giuliani closed down her restaurant, Stella Luna Gelato Café, because leftists threatened to destroy her property and injure or kill her and her staff.
“We got a call from the team saying, ‘We’re getting phone calls here,'” Giuliani said in an interview with the Ottawa Citizen. “I said, ‘What’s going on?’ and they said, ‘They’re threatening to throw bricks through our window. They’re threatening to come and get us.’ We said, ‘Lock the door and we’ll find out what’s going on.'”
Ilhan Omar cited that story in the Ottawa Citizen as an example of the corporate-controlled media run amok and criticized journalists for attacking regular people who are small-dollar donors to the convoy.
After some so-called “journalists” pushed back, Omar refused to bend to her allies’ criticism.
“I wish journalists wrote the articles they think they are writing. Sorry to say it, but your stories aren’t always balanced and often have a clear political bias. Calling it out isn’t harassment or journalist bashing. Everyone has a right to critique your story and it’s merits,” Omar added.
Omar doubled down on the idea that stories about people who contribute money to political causes hold no journalistic value.
“Ps. I fully read the article multiple times and I still don’t believe there was merit to the story as reported other than further harassment. You all are entitled to your opinions, but my opinion remains the same. These kinds of stories ruin people’s lives and are uncalled for,” Omar added.
One reason Democrats support legislation such as the DISCLOSE Act is because it would force nonprofits to report the names of their donors so mobs can find out who donates to pro-gun, pro-life, and pro-family organizations.
Once Democrats have the names of donors to conservative political causes, they can unleash mobs to stalk them at home, terrorize their businesses, or make life so uncomfortable their employers fire them.
