The battle between Texas and Joe Biden over border security is heating up.

The Lone Star State isn’t backing down in the fight.

And Texas Governor Greg Abbott made one big announcement that left Joe Biden seething with rage.

President Joe Biden claims that he wants to secure the border because it’s an election year.

But from day one of his administration, he’s been trying to roll out the welcome mat for illegal aliens.

His administration has fought Texas tooth and nail to keep the state from securing its border in the face of an invasion at the Mexican border.

The Supreme Court issued a shock ruling that allowed the Border Patrol to remove razor wire that Texas had placed in the hard-hit border city of Eagle Pass after Biden’s Homeland Security filed an emergency appeal.

Texas is doubling down on its effort to secure its border despite relentless attacks from the lawless Biden administration.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that his administration is building a new Forward Operating Base to house Texas National Guard troops in the Del Rio sector of the border who are working on border security missions.

The Texas Military Department is building the base on 80 acres near Eagle Pass where the razor wire showdown occurred.

The base will be able to accommodate up to 2,300 National Guard soldiers.

Texas launched an unprecedented state-led border security mission in 2021 after the Biden border crisis began called Operation Lone Star.

In addition to the new base, the state is sending more resources to secure the border with an expected surge in illegal immigration in the spring.

“In the coming weeks, we will also be expanding operations north and south of Eagle Pass, putting up additional barriers to fortify our border,” Adjutant General of Texas Major General Thomas Suelzer said. “We are also adding three more fan boats and expanding our drone program radar truck capabilities.”

Governor Abbott said that the new Forward Operating Base is “going to dramatically improve conditions for our soldiers.”

He added that the Texas National Guard is presently “scattered across this entire region in cramped quarters, away from fellow soldiers, and sometimes traveling long distances to do their job.”

Texas has spent more than $1 billion on Operation Lone Star while the Biden administration is refusing to enforce the country’s immigration law.

“The multi-agency effort has led to over 500,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and more than 39,500 criminal arrests, with more than 35,600 felony charges,” Abbott’s office said. “In the fight against the fentanyl crisis, Texas law enforcement has seized over 467 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission.”

States are on their own to secure the border until there is a change in the White House.
