High-ranking UN official’s social media full of anti-Israel rhetoric

A recent report found that a high-profile United Nations human rights official’s social media was full of anti-Israel posts raising questions about his ability to be objective when dealing with the Israeli-Palestine conflict.

United Nations Director and Deputy for the Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Craig Mokhiber’s social media posts were the subjects of a Feb. 28 report from GnasherJew, a group of experienced online investigators descended from Holocaust survivors who expose Holocaust deniers and antisemites, that found the human rights lawyer promoted anti-Israel views. Mokhiber accused Israel of “genocidal cruelty,” claimed Israel has been engaging in “ethnic cleansing” and voiced support for the “Right of Return,” the idea that Palestinians have an ancestral right to Israel as their homeland.

“Mr. Mokhiber was also found to be spreading misinformation, using stronger, more emotive, language when talking about Israel than any other country,” the report read. “He expressed support for Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS), but he doesn’t appear to advocate boycotting any other country, clearly indicating he holds Israel to a higher standard than any other country, a form of antisemitism. Furthermore, we found no commentary or social media posts by him criticizing Palestinian terrorism or Hamas/Islamic Jihad rocket attacks.”

In a 2021 interview with NBC LX News, Mokhiber alleged that Palestinians in “occupied East Jerusalem” were targeted by Israelis simply for being Arab, likened Israel’s security presence in Gaza to a prison and perpetuated the idea that Palestinians are the true “indigenous” people that have been irreparably “dehumanized” by “settler colonialism.” Mokhiber also denounced the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), created by the IHRA Plenary in Budapest in 2015, in a Twitter post as a “politicized … threat” to the Palestinian community and their supporters, according to the report.

Mokhiber is also a strong supporter of UN Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territory Francesca Albanese, who was recently called on by 11 members of Congress to step down for her antisemitic and anti-Israel comments, according to the report. Albanese was heavily criticized in recent months for comments she made in a 2014 Facebook post claiming the U.S. was “subjugated” by the Jewish lobby and referenced “Israel’s greed,” while accusing Israel of settler-colonialism as recently as Feb. 27 on her Twitter account.

Despite this, Mokhiber appeared to defend Albanese by posting an article supporting her after the wave of criticism and continues to retweet Albanese’s posts about the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Mokhiber also defended Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota in a tweet after she was removed from her spot on the Foreign Affairs Committee for antisemitic comments.

Mokhiber did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment regarding the report’s findings, but posted on Feb. 28 on Twitter that claims he was antisemitic were a “tired old trick.”

“The lack of impartiality shown here is evident,” GnasherJew said in the report. “Mr. Mokhiber’s conduct on social media needs to be reported to the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) and to UN Ethics.”

The U.N. did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

A CNN analyst criticized President Joe Biden and many Democrats in Congress Friday for “running scared” on crime by backing legislation scrapping changes to Washington, D.C.’s criminal code.

“As a longtime D.C. resident, I am very disappointed about what’s going on in Congress right now and I hope that Democrats find the backbone to reject this resolution that not only goes against home rule and goes against people’s votes counting and people’s voices counting in the Capitol of the United States of America,” Maria Cardona, a Democratic strategist, told CNN hosts Victor Blackwell and Bianna Golodryga.

Biden announced he would not veto legislation to override Washington D.C.’s revision of its criminal code Thursday. The legislation, passed in 2022 after the city council overrode mayor Muriel Bowser’s veto, reduced penalties for a number of crimes, including carjacking.

Congress has the power to legislate for the District of Columbia under Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution. Congress passed legislation in 1973 establishing home rule for the District of Columbia, but retains the power to override laws.

“It also proves to me that Democrats are running scared on crime and that is a dangerous position for us to be in because whenever we cede the ground on Republican talking points, we lose,” Cardona continued.

The House of Representatives passed the override legislation Feb. 9, with 31 Democrats, including Rep. Angie Craig, who had been assaulted in her apartment building that day, joining 219 Republicans.

George Soros has put his billions behind countless left-wing district attorneys across the country. 

These activist lawyers have been known to be lenient on and even supportive of violent criminals.

Now one Soros backed California DA has shown how sick it can get after suspending a prosecutor for this.

While many Americans were worried about the last presidential races and who controlled congress, billionaire socialist George Soros was taking over localities.

Soros has spent billions electing school boards, clerks of court, and district attorneys from coast to coast.

Gascón backs convicted transgender child molester

George Gascón is one example of the damage Soros can do.

Gascon is an infamous District Attorney for Los Angeles County.

And he has just suspended a state prosecuting attorney over so called misgendering. 

Gascón decided to side with a violent convicted transgender child molester when the prosecutor, Shea Sanna, accused the defendant of using gender to game the courts.

Sanna was prosecuting Hannah Tubbs who was accused of using a rock to beat a man to death in Kern County, California. 

The prosecutor used recordings of phone calls between the defendant and his father to show that Tubbs was lying about his gender.

Tubbs told his father, “when you come to court, make sure you address me as her.” Sanna decided that this situation could be dangerous if the convicted rapist made it into a woman’s prison under false pretenses.

The next thing he knew, Sanna was suspended.

Sanna is now doubling down and says he was “suspended for speaking out against the Gascón Administration.” He said the suspension happened because he had “misgender[ed] Tubbs while informing them that they were being played…”

Recordings showed the defendant was “gaming the system”

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Sanna said he told the Gascon administration that he had “recordings of [Tubbs] making up the name, gaming the system, joking about it and the date it was made up. And I had reports where he’s referring to himself as a ‘grown ass man.’”

The most insane part of this entire situation is that Tubbs was being treated as a juvenile at the age of 26-years-old. 

He was in a male juvenile facility, and he was trying to use left-wing woke talking points to manipulate his way into a female juvenile facility instead.

All of this was done under Gascón’s radical policies and Sanna says he was just trying to stop “a convicted child rapist” from attempting “to get himself into a juvenile facility as a woman, and he rapes little girls.” 

Sanna doesn’t understand why the Gascón administration sees a problem with that.

Tubbs’ victim has also spoken out about her attacker’s use of a new gender identity.

In an interview with Fox News she said that she had heard Tubbs was using “she/them pronouns.” 

She said that she believed it would be “unfair to try him as a woman” adding that “he didn’t act like one” on the day of her attack.

It makes you wonder if Gascón influenced by someone that wants some new type of justice system.

Gascón is just another “reform-minded prosecutor”

The district attorney is in fact well-funded by Soros, who is a vocal proponent of “reform-minded prosecutors.” 

These prosecutors focus on finding ways to make the justice system serve criminals not prosecute them.

Soros believes that the system is inherently broken, and he’s not shy about his investments he’s made. 

In an opinion column in the Wall Street Journal, Soros said that he has shown his support for these prosecutors “transparently” and promises that he has “no intention of stopping.”

That sentiment should frighten anyone who’s paying attention to the people he has backed.
