A Prayer for God's Direction in Your Life Choices

I was working at a fast-food restaurant, studying for the manager test that would certify me as a general manager. I grabbed a coffee, opened the first page of the study guide, and knew this was not what I wanted to do. The first page talked about how to wash your hands properly. I had an overwhelming sense that the Lord had more for me. Please know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with working any job because work is an honorable endeavor. You should work heartily for the Lord wherever you are. You can honor the Lord in any profession.

However, I believed there was more for me to do. The problem was that I had no idea what to do. I began praying and thinking about what to do. A week or so later, I sensed the Lord telling me, "I'm not going to give you the second step until you take the first one." I knew I needed to tell my boss he would not need to spend the money to have me certified because I was leaving.

It was nerve-wracking because I didn't have a reason to leave besides believing the Lord had something more for me. Since he wasn't a believer, he wouldn't understand. But he let me work until I had something lined up. I started to make plans to return to my home state. I thought I'd enroll in school and finish my bachelor's degree. As I planned, my pastor's wife said, "Have you prayed about staying?" I said, "No. If I stayed, I'd need a new job and a place to live." She said, "Why don't you pray about that?" I didn't really want to stay. I was looking forward to being home again. However, I prayed about staying.

Since my days off were limited, I started packing my things in anticipation of my move. I should reach out to a friend who had been in the area to let her know I'd be leaving. She responded with, "Are you sure you're supposed to leave? If not, I would offer you a job." After getting together with this friend, I was offered a place to stay and a job. My prayer was answered. I went home for the summer and returned in the fall. That job ended up being one of the hardest and best jobs I have had. It also gave me the training I needed for future endeavors. God knew that I would need it. My plans fell through, but God’s did not. He can see the whole picture, whereas we can only see what's right in front of us.

Let's Pray:

Lord, Thank you for being in control of our lives. Lord, we make plans, but you determine our steps. Thank you for knowing what is best for us, even when we don't understand. Thank you for being patient when we feel frustrated when things aren’t going as planned. Father, thank you for loving us enough to not only save us but also direct us. Thank you for taking care of us like a shepherd does his flock. Thank you for your protection, provision, and perfect love. Help us trust you, knowing we wouldn't have it any different if we knew what you knew. Thank you for being faithful, trustworthy, and true. We love you. We need you. Thank you for being all we need at all times and in every situation. Amen

Conspiracies often teeter on the edge of truth, blending factual elements with speculation and falsehoods, creating a complex web that can easily deceive and manipulate individuals seeking simple explanations for complex issues.

THE ART OF SPINNING A CONSPIRACY

Conspiracies often contain a kernel of truth surrounded by layers of falsehoods and misinformation, making it challenging to discern reality from fiction and leaving individuals susceptible to manipulation and deception.

Satan was the first to spin a conspiracy by taking one truth from God and weaving it with multiple lies, as seen in the Garden of Eden when he deceived Eve by twisting God's words, leading humanity into sin and separation from God.

Satan has not changed his effective method of spinning the truth, continuing to mix elements of God's truth with deceitful lies, just as he did in the Garden of Eden, to mislead and confuse humanity.

ALL HUMAN MINDS SEEK TRUTH

All humans innately seek truth, striving to understand their world, culture, and their purpose within it. Thanks to God’s creation, this quest for truth is a fundamental aspect of human nature, driving individuals to explore, question, and learn. However, amidst this noble pursuit, many find themselves blinded to discerning truth from demonic conspiracies.

Satan, the master of deception, artfully blends fragments of truth with lies, creating a facade that can easily mislead and confuse. The allure of these distorted truths can cloud judgment, making it difficult for individuals to see through the deception and recognize the underlying falsehoods.

This blindness to demonic conspiracies is exacerbated by the noise and chaos of cultural movements. With the constant influx and change of information, opinions, and theories, distinguishing between genuine truth and cleverly crafted lies becomes increasingly challenging - particularly for our youth. Yet, the power of Yeshua offers clarity and discernment. By grounding ourselves in His Word and seeking the guidance of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we can navigate through the deceptions and uncover the pure, unadulterated truth that God intends for us to know and live by.

DISCERNMENT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT THE MIND OF CHRIST

1 Corinthians 2:16 (ESV): "For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.”

Discernment between truth and lie can be a daunting task in the midst of a world filled with deception. Without the indwelling mind of Yeshua, it becomes nearly impossible to navigate through the myriad of falsehoods that surround us.

Yeshua's presence within us grants the clarity and wisdom needed to distinguish between genuine truth and cleverly disguised lies. His Spirit illuminates our understanding, guiding us to embrace what is right and reject what is false. Through Yeshua, our minds are renewed and empowered to see through the deceit that seeks to lead us astray, enabling us to walk in the light of His truth with confidence and conviction.

Satan thrives on a culture of misinformation, using it as a key strategy to lay the groundwork for his forthcoming kingdom. By spreading lies and distorting the truth, he creates confusion and division among mindless people, making it difficult for them to discern reality from deceit. This pervasive atmosphere of misinformation weakens individuals' ability to make informed decisions as authentic believers and undermines their trust in reliable sources of Biblical truth. As a result, people become more susceptible to manipulation and control, aligning themselves with deceptive ideologies and agendas.

Satan's ultimate goal is to build a kingdom founded on falsehoods, where his influence reigns supreme, and the light of God's truth is obscured. However, the power of Yeshua offers believers the discernment and strength needed to see through these deceptions and stand firm in the truth.

THE PROBLEM

Over 90% of self-proclaimed believers report struggling to discern Yeshua's inner voice from their own self-talk, highlighting a widespread challenge in distinguishing indwelling divine guidance from personal thoughts and emotions.

In fact, less than 28% of Christians can clearly explain the difference between merely following Christ's principles and being indwelt by Him, revealing a significant gap in understanding the mind of Christ thinking through them through a personal relationship with Yeshua from the inside out.

That is a major problem!

Since Satan counts on the indwelling confusion most believers suffer, he has formed a global movement of misinformation. By exploiting the difficulty many have in discerning Yeshua's inner voice from their own self-talk, Satan spreads lies and distortions on a massive scale.

This movement of misinformation serves to further cloud the truth, leading individuals astray and deepening their spiritual confusion. Through this strategy, Satan aims to undermine faith, sow division, and weaken the effectiveness of believers in their mission. However, through the indwelling presence of Yeshua and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, believers can overcome this deception and stand firm in the truth.

This dilemma has led to the emergence of a lukewarm global think tank. The widespread inability to discern Yeshua's inner voice from self-talk, coupled with the confusion between following Christ's principles and being indwelt by Him, has diluted the spiritual fervor and clarity among many if not most, believers.

This state of confusion and lack of discernment has created a fertile ground for misinformation, leading to a weakened and complacent global Christian community. As a result, the effectiveness of believers, like me, in advancing God's kingdom and countering the enemy's deceptions is significantly compromised.

To overcome this challenge, believers must seek a deeper, indwelling relationship with Yeshua and rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, using their minds for true discernment and spiritual empowerment.

Romans 12:2 (ESV): "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Real-deal believers need to learn the power of releasing Yeshua's mind from within when viewing all cultural movements, allowing His divine wisdom and discernment to guide their understanding and response to the complexities and deceptions present in the world - through all the misinformation.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has fired back against Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) after she referred to him as “Governor Hot Wheels,” an attempt to mock his disability.

In 1984, when he was just 26 years old and studying for the bar exam, Abbott took a break to go jogging. While on his run, a tree fell on Abbott’s back, crushing several of his vertebrae, which splintered into his spinal cord, and breaking his ribs and damaging several vital organs, according to Abbott’s website. He was permanently paralyzed from the waist down, and has used a wheelchair ever since.

Apparently, despite the fact that Democrats pretend to be the party that champions “marginalized people” like those with disabilities, one Democrat thought it would be funny to mock Abbott’s disability.

Leftist “rising star” Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) referred to Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels” and a “hot ass mess” during a Human Rights Campaign event on March 24.

The remarks prompted widespread backlash, including from Abbott — who responded to her comments during a March 25 interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“It’s another day and another disaster by the Democrats,” the Texas governor said. “The reality is they have no vision, no policy. They have nothing to sell but hate, and Americans are not buying it.”

“It’s one reason why Texas is going to remain red and why Republicans are going to continue to win elections across the country,” Abbott added. “The fact is that Texas is actually in direct contrast to what she was talking about. Texas has ranked number one for the most new jobs in America over the past month, number one for the most new jobs over the past year.”

“With comments like this by Democrats, we will just leave them in the dust in future elections,” he continued.

Crockett has attempted to defend her comments, claiming that she “wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition” and insisting tat the “Hot Wheels” remark was referring to Abbott’s previous actions in transporting illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities, though that defense fell flat on social media.

Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) has also since announced a censure resolution against Crockett “for her disgraceful and vile attacks against our Governor of Texas.”
