This verse describes the great strength of God who is able to produce water
from a rock. The Hebrew word for rock here is הצור / ha-tzur which alludes to a strongly
opinionated nature. Yet if read backwards, it becomes רוצה / ro-tze which means
‘is willing’. Just as הצור can be turned into רוצה so can obstinancy be turned
into willingness. No matter how far a person is from God, there is always a
desire to be close to Him residing deep in the heart that can be attained. Join
