The opening of Genesis outlines God’s intimate involvement with the natural
world and describes the Almighty proudly looking upon His handiwork and
declaring, “v’hinay tov meod” - “and behold, it was very good.” Man is created
and immediately charged in today's verse with caring for creation. One way we
care for God's world is by continuously planting trees and ensuring the natural
environment remains strong and healthy.
Unlike in the U.S.,
in Israel, though recreational marijuana is illegal and few people are allowed
permits to purchase medical cannabis, the government is much less stringent with
regard to research.
The deep sapphire blue crystal Star of David was designed
by Judaic artist Diane Fuller. In addition to a beautiful Star of David charm,
the necklace includes an eye catching lapis lazuli stone. The stone is
surrounded by glass crystals, giving it a pretty sparkle. In addition to the
necklace, there is also a matching set of earrings. This wonderful set will make
an excellent gift for nearly every occasion. The necklace is 18″ long.
