Thank You Father

Thank You FatherFor all that you have given me.
Thank You for always being there, with me.
I can remember being a child,
Calling out your name when I was scared.
You were always there to comfort me.
When I got older in my twenties,
While I did not forget you,
I did not call out your name.
How young,
how invincible,
how foolish.
Older, wiser, I call out your name.
Oh Father, How much I have grown
How much I have grown in my Faith.
You have given me so much,
To be a child of God.
To call you by name, Father
I long so deep inside,
My very soul cries out, Father.
I need You so much to be all of my life.
I pray each and every day,
For my faith in You to grow,
To deeply grow to love the Father and Son.
You father,
Have given me everything.
The Greatest gift, to be a child of God.
