Today's Israel Inspiration

As the Israelites stand with the sea in their path and the Egyptians in pursuit, God asks Moses rhetorically why he is still praying when he should be commanding the people to cross the sea. Why does God discourage prayer here; isn’t prayer the ideal response to a difficult situation? Our Sages say that there is a time for prayer, and a time for action, when we must put forth our own best efforts. Meir Panim is a renown non-profit Israeli organization dedicated to taking action to help the impoverished this Passover in Israel.

Pomegranate Necklace Made With Roman Glass

The Rimon (Hebrew for pomegranate) Necklace is a blue and green Roman Glass ensconced in a beautiful Sterling Silver pomegranate. Roman Glass was discovered during archaeological digs in Israel and date back to the Roman era, nearly 2,000 years ago. Thanks to the perfect balance of geological and climatic conditions, Israel is one of the few places in the world that was able to form and preserve the amazing colorful glass.
