"My culture is a very dominant culture."

"Latinos for Trump" founder Marco Gutierrez issued a very off-color (and tasty) warning to Americans if they don't fix their immigration problem with Mexico: "taco trucks on every corner."
Speaking with Joy Reid on MSNBC Thursday night, Mr. Gutierrez was asked to comment on Trump's immigration speech earlier in the week, prompting him to make his "taco truck" prediction.
"My culture is a very dominant culture and it’s imposing and it’s causing problems," said Gutierrez. "If you don’t do something about it, you’re gonna have taco trucks on every corner."
Joy Reid immediately interjected, bewildered on how to respond. Gutierrez expanded his statement: "We bring a lot of good things to the United States, but we also have problems."
People on social media have since responded to Gutierrez with extreme jest, saying that if "taco trucks on every corner" are the consequence of illegal immigration, then bring it on.
Though a silly example of prophetic ominousness (who doesn't love tacos?), the intent of Mr. Gutierrez's comment has largely gone ignored. When seen in unison with his previous "dominant culture" claim, the ardent Trump supporter clearly warns that Mexican culture – with all its faults and virtues – will dominate American culture, which obviously comes with more than just taco trucks.
